To echo what IanL has stated here, please note that it is slowly being chipped away at but I have a "real life" job to attend to that has it's own ups and downs. (Still trying to win Lotto and retire to a life of wargaming). I don't work for Battlefront but keep them in the loop with the status of the project. BP2 - Utah Beach was always going to be a release beyond CMBN coming to Steam. The big milestone was getting all the maps pretty much locked away before Christmas (70 sq km+ worth) except for the odd touch ups here and there while scenarios are being built.
I'd imagine it would be similar to CMSF2's release on Steam where the whole game family came out at once, but @BFCElvis should be able to confirm what exactly comes out on Steam on the 28th of March.

Can confirm that all CM games are unable to run under AMD 22.9.1 drivers.
Logo at load up flickers intensely.
Menus are all visable.
Loading into the game textures are as black but am able to see units as pic...
Looking forward to playing the game at some point... 😢

Circling back to the Lorraine battles, I finally looked into the Scenario Editor for CMFB and the chronology starts in October 1944, so I will be doing these for CMBN for September 1944. I haven't done a CM scenario since the old CM1 days with Steve Overton and his "Historical Scenario Group". Bitmap overlays for the map editor and elevation auto-interpolation! That will save some time indeed.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but having a second hunt command with the following functionality would fix quite a few of my gripes with the game:
"Unit moves forward until an enemy is spotted. Unit will engage target if in range or hold position. If the enemy goes missing for 5 seconds the unit will continue forward along the original path until spotting another unit or reaching the end of it's order"
Too many times I move up a tank with the hunt command, it sees a unit for a brief second, stops, loses contact and sits there until the timer runs out. This would cut down on a ton of micromanagement.

This is one of my pet requests. I would like the ability to call fire on a map coordinate, and if there is no line of sight, then it's a FFE mission and while it will hit the grid location accurately (after all, the FO and the FDC are using the same map, so the rounds should hit what he asked for), the effects will be unknown to the friendly side since there is no LOS. That's fine. It mimics reality. No need to get fancy with entering coordinates. The current FO call line works fine, just that inside the game a different behavior is used if there is no LOS from FO to target. This would allow firing on a tentative contact, for example, you know the enemy is expected to have armor, and you get a couple of sound contact behind a treeline or just over a rise, where you can't see.
Doesn't need to be TRPs. TRPs main advantage is faster response time. For TRPs the battery FDC will have already calculated firing data, and needs only to send it to the guns.

Thanks. The modded terrain textures are part of 37mm's All In One pack for RT, no clue who made them originally I'm afraid.
I'm also using ReShade to add a few things, like ambient light, bloom etc. IIRC I made some changes to the color balance as well.

Go to the main Battlefront page and download the 2.12 patch. Once you buy the Battlepack you will get an activation code. Then you activate the battle pack using the activation code for it. On your computer you should have a Activate New Products button from battlefront somewhere and that's how you use it.

You're welcome, there are things in real life which you can't do in CM. One of them is swapping responsibilities. You can't even bail out a green crew and let an experienced crew who immobilized their tank mount their tank. This was one of my frustrations.
