Thanks Combatintman, I have been playing around with hide, but they lose that state if you inch them forward crawling through bocage or similar. Hadn't thought of the length of the arc of fire though - only been using direction, I'll give it a go!

Hi all - Is there any way to stop Scouts (or any other troops when comes to it) firing when they spot a target? I'm hoping to be able to get them to just observe and not give give their position away by shooting. Can't seem to find a way to do it though except stetting an arc of fire in direction where there are no likely targets, but I'm not even sure that they won't override that. Any clues? Andy
