  1. You could try the first 'pre-mission' for a fun artillery experience . Given how bad I seem to be with off-board artillery (and it isn't just me who says that, @cbennett88 you know who I'm referring to ) I think I did surprisingly well at this.
  2. @Malaspina I hope you won't mind but I sent a copy of v2 to @Anonymous_Jonze. He has now become the major play-tester . But if what you say is correct perhaps it won't be the answer to filling his week off work .
  3. Very nice Ian, I knew you would have something to do the job .
  4. That's some pretty fancy shooting though, even if the animation looks bizarre.
  5. I'm trying very hard not to picture the Milk Snatcher 'on the throne' .
  6. I never fail to disappoint . I thought it might be that, but personally I have never heard the expression being used. Perhaps as my nearest neighbours just happen to be English, Irish and Welsh. I don't know why but my Irish neighbour was rather quiet last week and my Welsh neighbour has not been seen this week .
  7. Is that still a thing, I thought it went the same way as Ironsides? I think it's all here now (or most of it): https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/
  8. Really? Do you have a tracking spreadsheet or whatever? And out of curiosity where are you up to? I imagine you mean within particular titles, not within CM as 'a whole (minus the early stuff )'? Of course you may be twisting my melon(s) man.
  9. I agree, but what is 'the Crunch' - do you mean a Crunchy bar? I would be frustrated if I lost a Crunchy bar. You're drawing my mind to a colleague's tea mug at work. It is emblazoned with 'No to monarchy'. All I can say (to you, not him) is that you tried... He also had an 'I'll miss EU' plate after Brexit, with which I fully agreed, but we all know what a Fook-up that was.
  10. Hi Laurens, welcome. It might be to do with the extraction tool you used (Winzip/7z etc.) or the file location somehow. @BFCElvis can surely help you, or you can put in a ticket at the BFC Helpdesk on their website. It'll end up with the same person .
  11. You can list alphabetically, so all FR are grouped together. You would still have to load most of them up to get a date though. I recall others have said they play 'chronologically' so they may come along with suggestions or info. I think someone once said they were trying to play every battle on every front in chronological order, so they would need a spreadsheet or database to track that I imagine, not to mention adding in new releases when they arrive. Just a thought @A Canadian Cat - was IanL does your Whose Turn Is It utility have this info in it? I think it might? Not sure how accessible it might be for this purpose.
  12. Well the right person is @BFCElvis so you never know. But opening a ticket at the Helpdesk would make sure.
  13. Load it up and look at the bottom right of the screen. It should show which version.
  14. Also, the version number you have is displayed at bottom right of screen when you open up the game. Mine is showing v2.13 BFC.
  15. If you purchased F&R the code will be in your order history at BFC. If you didn't I can recommend it. If you have any further questions, I'm happy to try to help .
  16. Hmm, bridges. I haven't played this particular one, but the problem is familiar (from Stavelot as an example). I imagine you've tried very short movement orders across the bridge, and assume there's nothing blocking the bridge?
  17. Adam, it's an old(ish) but still current game. It may be my favourite, but that's not important. Anyway, if you have the latest F&R module then you're up to date. And hello to Praha, I had some good times there...
  18. This is interesting - perhaps we can try to verify it?
  19. If you have the CMFB module, you have it. Did I ever say I like the Jagdpanther ? I agree with what you say though, particularly the gun damage. Just by way of balance I have a Tiger Ausf B in a PBEM which just took a frontal hit from an ISU122 at less than 50m. Bounced off. The return shot from my KT penetrated the ISU. No-one got out . You win some you lose some.
  20. There is the 'Go to spotter' function if you click on other 'engaged' artillery but that's maybe not quite the same.
  21. Yeah I've been there. Depends on the circumstances I suppose. Okay if I ever get the time, I need to play this .
  22. No problem, but it might be worth waiting for @Malaspina (he visited 10 hours ago as I write this) to see if he doesn't mind and what version he's up to? I have v2, it's about 5.5MB. Edit, plus a few associated mods...
  23. By convoy orders I understand it to mean you set a path for the first vehicle and then issue a 'follow me' command to vehicles behind. They follow the same route, but keep their distance to avoid bunching up and getting in a jam. I've read that BFC trialed this some time ago (before my time) but I gather it was not a total success and was withdrawn. To do it now you have to issue individual, detailed paths with waypoints following the road (so not just A to B...) to each vehicle in turn, and if required also put increasing pauses on the vehicles in the queue so that they don't run into the back of someone in front. Does this always work? Definitely not, but it does if everything aligns. It can be a joy to watch, or it can be 'oh no, not again!'. In a current game I have 10 M5 Stuarts moving as two groups. I've got their movement right most of the time, but not every time. What I suggest above does not guarantee the same spacing, it as an attempt to avoid traffic jams which result in vehicles going 'off-piste'. If there is no bunching up and you've issued sufficient waypoints along the road, they should all stay on the road (unless there are obstacles, incoming fire, mines etc.).
  24. @Malaspina is your man for this, although I have a copy that he sent me if need be. To my enduring shame (sorry Enrico!) I didn't get much game time on it, but what I did see looked great (I played mission 0 which was a pretty unique experience , and part of 1 but why didn't I finish it, who knows?). I think I'm seeing a theme with myself there .
