Three questions. 1. In light of Ukraine How big of a deal Is the U.S Xm5 and its associated vortex optic. of the NGSW program? 2. How big of a deal is IVAS?(HoloLens for the U.S army) 3. This one is mostly for Battlefront. Is the Abrams modeled in CMBS similar to the m1a2sepv4?

from a laymen's perspective it seems like the U.S is the only option for tanks. If Ukraine wants a large and somewhat uniform fleet of MBTs. most of Europe is either unable or unwilling to give tanks to Ukraine. Greece and Turkey most likely wont give any as those Leopards are aimed squarely at each other. Spains Leopards are either too broken or too busy deterring morocco. Switzerland wont give any. Austria and Hungary are highly unlikely to give any. Slovakia, Portugal, Denmark, Norway and Czechia barely have any to give. Now countries that giving the current military and political situation are more likely to give Ukraine tanks Poland might be able to give a battalions worth but their stocks are dangerously depleted. they are waiting on their ex marine m1a1 feps to arrive and later m1a2 sepv3s. Finland might give a company's worth. they could give more. But they still seem quite nervous of the Russian army. Sweden could probably send a little more than a company's worth. How many Stridsvagn 103 could they send? Canada could probably send 20ish tanks. Germany if they grow a pair could send a battalions worth plus maybe a 100 more from Rheinmetalls stocks? So in Total perhaps 250 Leopard 2s. 150 of which come from Germany. It seems that at least in the near term Germany is not giving away leopard 2s. what about the other European tanks? Italy has 200 Arietes of which 40 are not in operational units so maybe 20 Arietes? The UK has roughly 400 challenger 2s. they are upgrading 150 to challenger 3s they use roughly 100 more for spares and training. leaving 150 max as surplus. I doubt they would give all 150 spares maybe to Ukraine. If I had to guess the most they will send is 75. France has ~225 Leclerc's I doubt they would send more that 25. So If All of the willing European Nations (plus Canada) send the max amount of tanks they can, without degrading their operational strength too much. (Poland seems willing to Sacrifice its tank capability much more than others) They can muster very roughly 370 tanks. Of wildly different make, model, capability and readiness. In my opinion this estimate is higher than what Europe will send in the near term. But If the political will materializes. They can send and just maybe produce more for Ukraine. The U.S Army has roughly 6000 tanks either in active service or in mothball. The USMC no longer has tanks but it did operate ~400 m1a1 Feps of which 116 have gone to Poland. If The U.S simply sends the rest of the ex marine Abrams. That would rival the amount the entirety of Europe could optimistically send. I'm sure the U.S army could carry on without 600 Abrams sitting in mothball. Considering These Abrams were meant to fight the Russians. it seems Highly unlikely The U.S will ever need 6000+ Abrams, unless The Chinese Come over the Himalayas. No doubt the Abrams is harder to maintain than European tanks and the factory is in Ohio instead of Europe. But It seems that operating a pure fleet of recently ex marine m1a1 feps, would make more logistical sense than operating A small amount of Challengers, a small amount of Leclerc's, a small amount of Arietes, a reasonable amount of Leopards that are divided into two different variants.

Is anyone in NATO starting to produce new equipment for Ukraine instead of drawing down from existing stocks? How much can they produce and how fast can they do it?

How many Bradley's could the u.s send before the war stock is seriously affected? what about Abrams? isn't there 400 reasonably modern ex marine m1a1s sitting around? + thousands of others in various stages of obsolescence in storage?

is there plans for Bradley's to get APS? Funny how in black sea Abrams and Bradley have them. but even now only a few Abrams units have APS

When you see Zelenskys security detail they are armed with m4s and acogs. how common are NATO rifles in the Ukrainian army? How many is NATO and the U.S supplying?

For lack of a better term what is the tier list for equipment (such as small arms, communications equipment, optics, body armor ,NVGS and thermals etc) in the Ukrainian army? How much better is the 93rd mech equipped compared to the average Ukrainian Unit? what are TDF units equipped with, is there any standardization of equipment? Does any of the high end gear that kraken guys get, trickle down to other units?

what is the Night vison and thermal optic situation for both sides? It seems that the special forces on both sides seem well equipped with night vison although the Ukrainians seem to have better top end equipment. how common is night vison in this conflict, and what night vison and thermal optics are in widespread use? I would assume that Ukrainians have a lot of u.s supplied pvs-14s and perhaps some pvs-31s . Do the Ukrainians have any domestic night vison? What night vison do the Russians use and how does it compare with western kit? Finally how much kit is being bought off the commercial market?

so my question to you professionals is, how many men can Ukraine realistically mobilize and how will they be equipped?

The absolute state of the conscripts of Luganda and Donbobwae. I guess the Russians somehow ran out of aks already (How?) maybe they sold them all to African warlords and Collectors in the U.S (who are better armed than the guys fighting for Donbass and Luhansk. They dont even have optics on them, the poor bastards.

I took a quick look in the quick battle force selection tab. I found that uncons have the same soft factors between units with them being mostly having extreme motivation with some having high to fanatic motivation. Their experience ranged with mostly green with some with conscript or regular experience. with the Syrian army there is some difference between units surprisingly special forces seem to be entirely conscript with poor to normal motivation. when it comes to mech formation the Syrians soft factors seem to not change if the formation is guards or reserve. their motivation is low to high. Their experience level is mostly green with some conscript and regular mixed in.

well you make a good point. I guess I was not too keen on the lore, I thought the Bundeswehr would send a good portion of its army including some of the lesser quality units.

I should of phrased the question better sorry. For instance in quick battles when units soft factors are set to typical, all blue armies have the same soft factors. I was wondering if there should be different typical soft factors for each blue army?

Now I won't pretend to be a expert here, but should the U.S army that at the time (and still does mostly) had recent and large amount of combat experience in the middle east and was a all volunteer force have better soft factors than the German army that had relatively small amounts of combat experience and still had conscription?

So little issue here i'm new to combat mission but liked the look of it so I bought shock force 2 got the installer and downloaded it I activate it problem is when I click on the game my screen goes black an the game closes. I'm just wondering what i did wrong an how I can fix it, plz help...... never mind I did some trouble shooting and re installed it an it works now.
