The re-worked Road to Nijmegan, mission 2.  Really enjoying this so far.

    Finally, just had to share...
My paratroopers are having that kind of day.  Calling my 81mm arty support down on a line of hedgerows about 650m away, this German AFV takes a lucky round right through the top armor...

A clash between Panzer IV and Churchills got very bloody for both sides:

    Advancing through the hedgerows...

    Which is pretty dangerous.

But there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Even if it meant that the light is actually a muzzle flash of a 88mm tank canon.

This Tiger got stuck in the wet ground...but unfortunately it was right at my avenue of approach...

When desperate enough even a ****ty outhouse can be a hiding spot from those damn tanks.

To have the 'downfall' module you need to download the version 2.10 installer from the patches page on the battlefront web site. Once downloaded unzip the file and run the installer, after installation you will have final blitzkrieg base game v2.10 (check version on the start screen). Quit the game and look for the 'activate new product' icon (should have been placed on your desktop) run this and it will prompt you to input the activation key (copy and paste this from the 'my orders' page on the battlefront website) if it works correctly it will say 'successful activation' . launch game and you will see the 'downfall' icon (bottom left on start screen) then, happy gaming!
Note: the login details for the store are different to that of the forum. If you have lost the store details then contact Elvis he should be able to help.
Note 2: Above steps are for windows system, no idea about mac procedure.

It is surprising to see to what extent CM is a versatile game capable of creating historical scenarios, even if they only have geography and the forces present, taking on a completely different turn as the game progresses.
or, what I love above all, tutorial scenarios like those of Bill Hardenburger or those of George MC (fantastic)
But he also makes films, the Private Ryan campaign with the finale in the very Hollywood village with the air attack.
I have just tested one of your scenarios by playing it for what it is, a fun game inspired by another game and what a pleasure. I had a lot of fun, the cards are super, very detailed, the timing of the reinforcement is excellent, relaunching the challenge until the end.
I was able to test for the first time a function that I thought was useless: emergency artillery fire!! and it saved my game!! awesome
    merci @Murauder

This collection includes 4 scenarios, which are remade from the tactical WW2 FPS game Post Scriptum. Based on the PS map I made them in the CMBN. I have played through these scenarios for many times, so they should be fine. Also I have made some different layers, but they are not quite historiclly correct, just for my own fun. Maybe I will release them later days. Now I am making a Carentan map, it will take some days to finish.

Hello, I have just noted the different scenarios where the orchards are not “Norman” if some are purely cosmetic, others actually risk modifying the gameplay orchard hill for example.
    -Breaktrough
    -Ecoqueneauville
    -Le grand hameau
    - Hell in hedgerows
    -Labyrinth
    -Licornet
    -Neuville
    -orchards hill
    -stalemate
as I told you I can modify them, I'm waiting for your greenlight.
it might take a little time though !!
in relation to the problem raised by Kohlbie I made a post a while ago about an issue with an old scenario where units were placed in front of hedges at startup; this one didn't generate much interest I reinstalled the game, it stopped but randomly reappeared maybe something changed in the last update

Hello @Paper Tiger, I am delighted to be able to play again this campaign which is a pinnacle in the same way as Scotich Corridor for which I am developing a rain mod.
I'm a little embarrassed, especially since I wake up after the update work to point out my only complaint with this campaign, the apple trees on the maps. You made orchards with low trees whereas in Normandy especially at that time, it was “tige haute; high trunk” like you make in Scotich Corridor; This makes it possible to put cows in the fields and optimize the production of milk and cider.
Living in Normandy that hinders my immersion.
I can modify all the cards if you wish but you will have to re-integrate them into the campaign
    merci  for your merveilleux work

Don't worry, this won't overwrite or otherwise delete the original campaign that came on the disk. IIt's a completely different file. This is substantially different from the vanilla campaign and the number of changes made is huge but the most important one to note is that you will need both the Market Garden module and the Vehicle Pack to play this.

Other important highlights are that the 2/8 INF core units are now mostly Green with High morale which means you'll need to manage them more carefully in a firefight.
All-new AI plans using triggers and most of the tricks that came with later versions of the game.
Flamethrowers are included in some missions.
Some maps have been revised, most notably the map for Turnbull's Stand which veterans of the original campaign will probably notice quite quickly.
A 'new' mission has been added although those of you who found and played the earlier revised version that was uploaded to BFC's old Scenario Depot will recognise it. The campaign has a prelude phase consisting of the new mission and then the old campaign opener Beau Guillot. You should notice quite a few changes made to that mission as well - some extra help to make up for the drop in experience.
There is air support in quite a few missions now and less artillery, at least the bigger guns anyway.

Anyway, let's post this and then I'll see what needs to be 'fixed' or not in good time. This is an old campaign so i'm not expecting a ton of feedback for it for quite a while but let me know and I'll fix things. Now I'm taking a break from CMBN. I haven't quite decided what comes next - finishing Hasrabit or a new version of Gung Ho! for the German forces. Later, I'll get to work on the two Scottish campaigns I'd mentioned elswhere.

    Have a Happy New year.

Ah excellent! Appreciate your feedback and appreciation. Its grand to hear these wee training scenarios are appreciated. Aye I think TTP No2 is the hardest one as the fighting ends up being close range, so more of a 'dice throw' as in 'he who spots first fires first' sort of thing.
I have a few French pals so think I'd go more Gallic! Probably more -"Qu'est-ce-que tu fais!" As I once heard a French Guide say repeatedly to his hapless client as they grovelled their way up a sport climb at Orpierre. He 'said' it a few times, getting louder each time, but the poor chap at the other end didnae grasp the meaning!
Thank you again for your kind feedback!

After weeks... months without having posted on this forum and even if I remain an avid reader via my tablet. I finally found time for myself and I even have the luxury of playing up to three scenarios a day.
I replayed and played @George MC entire series on the SDKFZ and tanks.
What pleasure, what interest, what information
The sdkfz that I didn't know what to do with have become indispensable to me, even if as a passionate CM Normandie player, they rarely have the opportunity to show their full potential.
Lesson 3 spw is simply orgasmic,  the example of assault with the spw in film that you showed, I have done it several times!!!
TTp n3 The attack against pak is a must
On the other hand, I had to replay the TTP n2 attack against the city several times, without listening to George's advice, I suffered a lot (I couldn't help but imagine him watching me play, shrugging his shoulders eyes towards the sky muttering, they don't listen to these French.)
just a big thank you George
