Truly America is so stupid. We can't provide a tiny portion of our gdp to a cause most Americans are fine with, to which no American lives are at risk, to degrade the ability of a enemy, and strengthen our own standing in the world....and we are willingly throwing it away. Holy ****, why would any nation ally with us vs China.
We are starving our ally of life for literally no ****ing reason. No reason except as a favor to a certain someone. And no none of the flimsy excuses pass, most Americans, most senators, representatives support Ukraine or at least espouse sentiments to such.

It's because russia is losing and the war may not be over before the end of 2024. It won't look good to release a game about the war in Ukraine as the war will still be going on.... 
I  am pro-Ukrainian just calling it like I see it.

If you see more videos from there, many of scared citizens say "we have to flee from the city". The citizens of European part of Russia cities have much more comfort life, than inhabitants of villages, small towns and depressive regions, which mostly enlisted to army. Do not shoot at the cities, this is the same as "do not provoke Russia" before a war. Every Russian MUST. MUST. MUST to feel that the war is fear, blood, dirt, loss of property. Not tells about endless victories "with small blood" onTV. Then maybe they can ask authorities - WHY? Because now they have moods "go,go,go, we are winining! Khokols, surrender!"  
But Belgorod really has many (around)military industry factories and military objects. What was a target - we don't know. Because all missiles were "intercepted by Russian AD in unpofessional way" %)

There now is a second alternative, by Microsoft themselves - an OpenGL to Direct3D translation layer. So you only rely on AMD to get Direct3D (DirectX12) right and you don't use any of their broken OpenGL nonsense.

Well Steve did a pretty good job already.  I would say your view is definitely skewed.  I am not sure this last RA offensive was “strategic” or “massive”.  We really have no idea how hard the RA is “sweating” but did it occur to you they did this to try and project the narrative you are buying into?  
As to massed fires, well you do not cite a single source or fact in your entire analysis so it is really hard to follow up on what is essentially an opinion piece.  Do you have stats on the levels of fires?  Haiduk just posted some that show RA fires dropping, which kind of matches a lot of observations.  Also I would offer you go back and look at Severodonetsk last summer, the level of fires there was surpassing WW1 concentrations.  Do you have credible sources that show they exceeded this at Aviidka?
My thoughts are that this is a local tactical offensive designed to demonstrate and signal that the RA is not solely on the Defensive…but the cost of this demonstration likely exceeds its actual impact.  It shows the UA employing the same elements of Denial they themselves are facing, and they appear to be just as effective.  
We seem to be at a point where neither side is able to achieve operational levels of offensive success - no break throughs or break outs.  In a war of attrition it is very hard without detailed inside knowledge to see breaking points.  Back in WW2 Germany was doing counter offensives nearly to the end, even though it was clear they were broken at Kursk.  In this war the UA currently has offensive initiative and has been trying to string a series of tactical offensives into operational conditions setting.  We will see if they are successful.
I guess my “analysis” is that the first tactical twitch out of the RA since last Winter does not merit the level threat that you have assigned it.  I think some of your basic assumptions are skewed in RA favour -  likely not out of support to RA but honest concern - and you need to revisit them.  Further, you may want to provide some citations or links that are shaping your thinking so we can check them for ourselves.

Seems Russia's political manipulation and propaganda is finally paying off for them. Serbia stirring **** on Kosovo borders, US cutting support thanks to Republicans, now Slovakia. All designed to remove Ukraine's support and all great successes.
edit: this of course goes back to the whole Western strategy of trickling support, not helping too much and thus giving Russia both ample time to dig in physically, and work the infosphere.

In about 4 months, steam is no longer going to support Windows 7 users come January 2004. I don't know exactly if you can still play through the UI or how it will effect the play-ability of your games. I know there are still many users here with that system. Expect the worst. Many users extremely angry.

Civilian and cargo are not equal. Civilian is a passenger cruise liner, for example. Any "civil" cargo ship can potentially carry military or dual purpose cargo. Russian civil freighters for example, were involved in so-called "Syria express" along with military auxiliary vessels and landing ships, carring vehicles, ammunition and fuel.   
Since 21st of July, according to decision of National Security Council     A N Y   cargo ship, heading to Russian ports or to ports on occupied Ukrainian territory can be considered as those, which carry military-related cargo with all risks for them. Also since 20th of July, due to the same decision, Ukraine prohibited any shipping in Kerch strait as potentially dangerous and this statement was shared to all ship-operators. 
Also together with this decisions Zelenskiy made a statement that Ukraine will be more and more to transfer a war on Russian territory. Most of Russian population support the war or indiffrent and think this is "too far" from them.
This is not a border conflict, not a conflict with civilized opponent, where both sides stick to different rules of war and conventions. This is the same existential war on annihilation as WWII. We can't win this war wearing a "white coat" in order not to make nervous different lefist organizations like HRW and some western governments representatives, expectng in horror nukes because of each UKR strike on Russian territory. Of course, we can't do retaliation carpet bombing like on Drezden in 21st century, but we will strike enemy economical infrastructure and significant objects like Moscow towers (by the way only two "broken windows" caused start of exodus from these towers some commercial tenants and appartment leesess - and this is also economical losses for towers owners)

Can you clarify what version you installed for Visual C++?

Many people have been running into problems with AMD GPUs and crashing with large scenarios, particularly with Cold War. The most recent problems don't seem to be tied to an AMD driver update, so if a different solution works, it would be great to get the word out on that more.

Anybody knows something about this?

1 year of the war is passed. From the start of the invasion and to the huge count of air and missile strikes. One of my friends has been killed by wagner artillery in Bohorodichne village near Bakhumt. My father-in-law has been killed by storming the defensive enemy positions in the Kherson region 1st of October. I gave 3 of my salaries (all what I have)on the first day of the war on the military budget. Thanks to all of you, thanks for your help. Taking carry of our refugees, helping our soldiers to destroy enemy forces with AT weapons, artillery, APS, AFV, and Tanks, peoples who served in foreign legions. Thank you for giving billions of money to support our economy. Special thanks to battlefront for small support for me, when I asked about a discount, they gave me 2 games with all DLCs for free - I didn't expect this. Some of my relatives were in Kherson in occupation, and all high-value electronic and expensive things were looted from them by Russian forces. And now we don't fear rocket strikes (10 times they exploded 700-1000m from my house) we don't fear nuclear threat, we don't fear the second army in the world and you shouldnt. Sorry for we English would that what I want to say for all of you, I can tell you many things about the war but first i will try to improve my language knowlages.

Are there no DShKs in the game? Seems like a bit of an odd omission if so.

Looking at older forum posts, apparently it was removed from the IS-2 for historical reasons, as it was supposedly a post-war addition. However, somebody posted contrary photographic evidence in the same thread, so I'm not sure what's going on there.
 
In older threads from 2014, there is talk about DShK HMG specialist teams that were supposed to be in the game, but accidentally left out due to an error.
Apparently, they were added back into the game in a later patch
However, I can't find any specialist teams with the DShK in the current version of the game. Am I missing something? Is this a reappearance of the bug that caused the DShKs to be omitted? Or were they intentionally removed from the game? If so, why? I'm pretty sure it's not disputed that they were used during the war, it would be an odd decision to remove them.
