I know there's not likely to be an answer but is there any plan for a patch to CW and BS that would include a fix for things like the literally years old problem of the 9M114 not guiding from Mi-24s in either title?

In the beginning of 2014 only 18% of Ukrainians wanted to join NATO and about 3/4 (undeservedly) considered russians ok guys.
Everybody was more than happy to stay neutral and there were no issues apart from russian soldiers looting something and killing ukrainians in Crimea once a year just for fun - but our government always tried to sweep that under the rug and pretend it never happened.
The war began in 2014, the justification was that Ukrainians are subhuman and don't deserve to have a country. And it flew perfectly well with the russian population.
Pretending that NATO is somehow a reason for the war that started 8 years ago when Ukraine was extremely anti-NATO is your typical russian BS designed to give "russian-friendly" politicians in the West a reason to keep letting Russia do its crimes.

What kind of scenarios would be made for it?
I think a US campaign defending against massive T-34 onslaughts would be pretty fun. Also, lots of mechanized warfare. GI's in halftracks vs tank riders.
You would probably need to stack the deck in the Soviet favor though. Artillery and good optics would wreck T-34's.

We know how well that worked back in USSR when russians were stealing european car designs - but because russians literally murdered all the talent at the time - for every Fiat 124 the best they could do was always Zhiguli.
It didn't improve in post-USSR Russia either. A complete and total corruption made sure that talent was replaced with friends or relatives of whoever owned the business.
So every Ford they will release will be an obvious low quality knock off. Not to mention nobody in Russia is capable of designing a new car

Remember the Cuban crisis? NATO was willing to go all the way then and the Soviets backed off. Eventually you must confront him whether you like it or not. Don't believe for one minute he will stop here, his goal is the restoration of the Soviet Union. The breakup he described as the biggest disaster ever. Don't wait till forces from Eastern Europe are once again part of his army. Who could blame them?

I've just seen the latest opinion poles. In the Netherlands more than 2/3 of the population is in cold war mode. That's unique. The new enemy is Putin and we're prepared to drastically increase the defence budget and defend Eastern Europe. I expect it will be the same in the rest of Europe.
But the only thing that will help Ukraine is massive arms deliveries and devastating sanctions. I wish NATO would send their forces to Ukraine, but I don't see that happen.

What a strange thought, that German Panzerfausts will once again be fired in Ukraine.

Same difference. Germany is using us to send them. What's wrong with you Germans anyway?
