Unfortunately there isn't.

While both being wargames, the two offer very different gameplay (real time vs turn based), so they aren't competitors.

I also don't like the looks, however when anybody drops here criticizing the outdated graphics of the CM series, he always gets the same answer: it doesn't matter and fancy graphics are not needed for a wargame

But OP was asking for the steam deck, which obviously uses Steam, so in this case, there's no need for 3rd party software.

CM games can run with a custom proton, if you can get that on the steam deck then I guess it would be able to run it (I play CM games on Linux which steam deck is also using).

Steam has already this built in. You just have to get the app (steam link) from the store (android or ios).
