use to be some website years back where you could add so many affects to any picture or document you uploaded, can't recall the name but sadly it had to shut down. was so so easy to do, i did some paper work documenting a u boat campaign i was playing once, it was so easy, just up load any picture and insert and place, boom...with all the cool affects etc you'd want..

Scenario designer may have added a tag so that whitewash doesn’t appear. If you mean in a Quick Battle, might be a bug.
no , I'm in a red star a blazing mission...its one of those proximity ones, when I'm close some tanks loose their white tracks, when I'm away, all tanks have white tracks

The tree shadows are a blocky, flickering mess on my PC.
Is there any solution for this problem?
My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB)
Best regards,
ThommHi Thomm. Have you tried the NVIDIA graphics panel? (Right click on desktop) should see an option. And you can set personal preferences for combat mission. For me it made a HUGE difference with how the game looked and ran. And even tho there are still odd behaviours with shadows. I find it alot better.
Will be happy to send my settings via discord

Was playing a mission other night, ground setting was snow. And the vehicles were NOT whitewashed which is ok, however I noticed some of the treads on some of the t34 were not snow clogged. Same with the nashorn...
Didn't know if this was a bug or something ???
Any ideas?

If the trailer is anything to go by, I'll give the movie a miss.
It is actually a great movie. A few odd scenes etc. But the action is great.

i've had some huge battles in CMBN. it obviously affects performance but not to where i would be disappointed.

Ah forgot about the firefly. I never play CW because CMBN is so old.. Better than the 90mm
pittyful excuse lol..... its only old in the sense it was the first title in the cm2 ww2 series to be made.

and yes, in my years of gaming, AMD suck, there drivers just aren't as wide supporting or as stable in my experience..

I recommend switching to Nvidia. Then it only runs very badly
if you use the advanced feature and define your graphics settings from the nvidia panel, makes a huge difference.

Here is a savegame showing a bridge bug.
The Soviet halftrack is jojoing on the bridge, going forward normally, then space-warping backwards.
It might be related to the T34 trying to go under the bridge and failing, but probably not because the tank later showed up at its destination and the halftrack was still jojoing.
Savegame is a meeting engagement quickbattle, hotseat, empty password both sides.
i had this the other night with the last tiger in berlin mission, just save and reload from save fixed it.

I've only just noticed they have'nt included the airborne forces. must have saved them for some module...lol

xbox dashboard for me, via pc, works amazingly well and simple

Steve said that engine 5.x will be about modern hardware. Which you could assume means multithreading.
However, 6 cores (like in the i5 discussed here) will still be fine. Most threaded games use 4 cores or less. An 8-core probably won't run CMx2 5.x any faster than the 6-core.
that is true, saw it on this forum somewhere, sounds promising.

Hi,
that computer is just fine for CMx2. It is good value for the price.
certainly, if you build your own, like many of us here, you will get more bang for the buck and more upgradeability, but it will be more expensive. A upper tier CPU will cost around $500, MB $400 and better graphic cards than the 2060 are impossible to get currently at decent prices because of crypto-miners.
I have wanted to buy a RTX 3060/3070 for close to a year, but not a 2 or 3 times MSRP.
This is not so true in these day and age, at least if you wish to game sometime soon, GPU and the like are in mass shortage. and then IF you find any, even older models. they are usually marked up stupidly due to the shortage. so i think if you A) don't want a delay...B) and want key components of your choice, pre build is awesome for everyone now as they keep the price fair and aren't marking up the cards at all..

Hi All,
A gaming desktop sale is currently on and I saw a Dell G5 series computer retailing for $1,299 down $700 from $2,000. The computer has these specifications;
10th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-10400F processorWindows 10 Home EnglishNVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR616GB, 1x16Gb, DDR4, 2666Mhz256GB M.2 PCIe SSD + 2TB SATA 7200 RPM HDD 3.5"Are these specifications sufficient to play size huge campaigns and battles on balanced settings? My current computer lacks the power to handle these maps and I am unable to play a lot of CM campaigns and battles . I'd appreciate insight from other CM users regarding this computer.Thank you,Almactry and get a RTX3080 GPU if you can, i also hear amd and ryzen are ahead of the game in terms of processor power
