  1. Greetings all! 1- I would love to see Engineers be able to place mines in game, maybe also build defensive structures? = Awesome! Perhaps it could be done with their own supply vehicles, and a time factor for construction.... 2- Ability for supply dumps offloaded from vehicles. 3- Would be nice to mix up force selection in CMBN for the Germans as in Airborne with the other options like the Allied force can. 4- I’m just getting started with video AAR’s I know this is a huge ask but I’ll throw it out there... If we could screen record in game I think the amount of people posting videos would increase a lot and perhaps increase this awesome games presence. Maybe a Combat Mission film festival once a year would be fun! I’d be happy to help organize that. Absolutely adore this series of simulators I appreciate the work and efforts many have done to make it what it is... Best! The Great White North Aka Manitoba Martin
  2. I am running CM on my Mac and I don't see a version for it is there one coming or is it included in the newest Big bundle download CMBN
  3. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue before maybe with other vehicles as well.... This vehicle is supposed to have 2 crew and when I purchase it it has 7.... I've tried deleting any mods related to the vehicle and it still is incorrect... Any Ideas to fix would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Greeting all. I've played my first PBEM game and have to say it was most enjoyable... I very much appreciate the efforts of the community in the hard work they spend on all the different mods available to increase the enjoyment and realism of these games. 1 mod that I feel is missing if someone has the time to do or help me with is this... A saved file loadable to saved games like the vehicle dealerships but for Battalion troop formations for quick reference... Perhaps on a huge map per force GER Army/SS ect... or per Battalion(S) I think it would be a great resource for PBEM and quick battles to be able to see the breakdowns in formation, total number of fighting men and total ammo counts, and cost at say at typical or Reg for everything. I've been doing it myself in batches of say 2 Battalions at a time but thought it be nice to see everything available all at once to shop for forces and make decisions on force selection easier. Ive looked at the map editor and it scares me.. Im not that tech savy so I thought I'd put this idea out there. Lastly for the developers it be nice if you could save load outs in QB/PBEM to use without picking a map for future battles :-) If anyone has the patience and time to assist me on this I can be reached at hasswerks@gmail.com Best Martin
  5. It's Awesome!! Verry impressive! So much so I can only dream what an AAR between you and Bud would look like in your formats!! Personaly if there was a novel printed I would cherish owning it... Please don't stop... What at don't you kick ass in... :-) M.
  6. Your blog is permanently bookmarked as well as on my phone when I have chances to review it at work!! A treasure of information to say the least! I should print a hard copy and place it beside my mouse..... :-)
  7. I've observed with a muddy affair that slow and hunt were roughly the same chances for bogging but reduced more so than fast or move. I also noticed bogging while sitting in one position for too long. One Sherman had a tow cable displayed but no one in the proximity to help tow him out if that is built into the options....
  8. Me at work with a Red Dragon camera Alas the long hair is gone for now, with summer approaching and a pbem with someone I will keep secret for now. I figure the long hair will get in the way of my tactics lol...
  9. Looks like the lower section is where the wound is located.... Looks almost like the north south position as well....
  10. PanzerMike you did a fantastic job!!! I'm half german so I do prefer to always play the germans.. I always looked at their equipment and especially their armour and said to myself that is sexy!
  11. I did not.... But now that you mention it I fancy the idea! And will include it in my next aar! Pre-Battle speach.... Most excellent idea!
  12. Sometimes doing nothing is the best way to observe reality.... My poetic side....
  13. You are correct Bill! I've been a lighting technician and camera support ( Dolly Grip ) since '95 I've recently been accepted into the IATSE 669 Camera Local as a cameraman! Now I'm competing with the other 180 cameramen in the local for work. If at any point you ever make the trip back my way lunch/dinner is on me, be great to meet you in person! Im also flattered your enjoying my first attempt at an AAR and as a matter of fact I am an ameteur stand up comic so the humor in my mission is not eluding me! Best...
  14. 2nd contact... and a bad one with taxi mode in place... I forgot to dismount before exposing myself... Very happy with the option of tank riders with this release thank you for including it!
  15. Oh and Bill I love your profile image of Sam the Eagle... I had the luck and pleasure of working with the Henson company on A very Muppet Christmas movie in 2002 It was 8 weeks of awesome! The character suits you...
  16. I know your busy Bill But I amused myself pretending you were free..... Battle drill is a most excellent blog and I thank you for the effort you put into it. I'm far far away from my 10,000 hours of practice implementing doing it right. I indeed also knew the chances of bogging were high and it was a risk I did consider. 1 out of 13 to my initial set up zone I was happy with.
  17. Cool !! My test AAR is started... I think it will be more a display of how beautiful the game looks, perhaps I shall in the future call it- Overwatches demise in photographs...
  18. He was not alone... Perhaps there is a line up for the outhouse... My Objective became clear... The outhouse defenders had to go... To be continued..... Comments welcome...
