I have a mediocre laptop I use pretty much just for CM, performance is silky smooth with the demo. Noticed a long time ago as mentioned above, turning details to balanced or just lowering them from best makes a huge difference in FPS without much noticable difference in visuals. Also, yeah, shadows off, not necessary for the experience.

I'm currently playing through The Eagle and the Bear Narrative campaign. Has been a blast so far. Really liking having to weigh the risks of commiting units to battle whos loss can have large negative consequences to the outcome of the battles. Also started the Charge of the Stryker Brigade from BP1. I got murdered after I pushed into the town on the first mission, while trying to cross the bridge into the first main objective. Missed taking out 1 BTR and an AGS Tigr, paid the price. Looking forward to trying again.

I head abour that. I bet ISIS would take credit for your toilet overflowing if they thought it would get them some press coverage.

If you are looking for a lot of bang for your buck, shock force 2's upcoming release would be a good bet. So many QB possibilities and a metric ton of community released content that will be compatable upon release. I'm stoked for that and want to get Red Thunder after that. Ive noticed a solid number of campaigns put out for that game that look really interesting.

YES! Looking forward to the MOUT operations, where the fighters and uncons can be a tough nut to crack. The things I loved about shock force was the uncons, and that the better equipped Syrian units could still make you feel some pain if you didn't cross your T's and dot your i's. Very much looking forward to the possibilities of the new release on the upgraded engine.

I've tried visiting the site, I remember using it years ago. And with the forthcoming release of SF2, i wanted to dabble back into shock force. Everytime i try to access the site, i get an hsts error that i'm unable to fix from the chrome hsts settings page. I do want to donate now that I'm older and have the means to throw some cash at the folks who helped make my CM time more enjoyable. Anyone know what the deal with that error is? Cant figure it out. EDIT : Figured it out, sent something for GAJ.

Hey, was looking to play this campaign. My installation didn't create a campaigns folder for me to put this in. I created a path exactly the same as I have in CMBN. But the campaign doesn't show up on the list. Do I need to do something different? This campaign looks sick. Thanks for the work you put into it.
