Just to get a flavour for the game I loaded the biggest free standing battle, Rumpenheim Rumpus.  I didn't change any of the dispositions, as I was just planning to play the first turn or two as the US forces, and watch the show.  Three hours later.....  Great scenario, and easy to play as the Americans.  Nice job guys!

Exactly.  AARs etc can be fun up to a point but if the delay goes on too long frankly they just get annoying.

Ah right if it was 5 minutes maybe I gave up too quickly.  I managed to finish anyway, although my force was totally immolated.

As far as discount prices are concenred, I have to admit I have limited sympathy with those of my friends who say they can't afford it.  Rather than save they dribble their money away on inferior games and probably end up spending more in the long run and have nothing in their collection to compare to Combat Mission 😉

Really?  I thought this forum was about a wargame.

My suggestion is let us get our hands on the expansions for FI and RT!
 
After that I'll put another CM development on my bucket list alongside seeing men land on Mars, either of which would be very welcome!

It's not about you being offended or not.  It's about first society and then the state shutting down those that offend you. And burning books that offend you etc etc.  In a free society I have as much right to offend you as you have to be offended. 
Personally I don't see a distinction between facism and communism, to me they are both totalitarian extremes of socialism.  I hope that doesn't offend 😉

I'd refer you all to Jordan Petersons various works and videos on this subject (most of which is on Youtube). In short, I think he would say that you can't hope to understand the moral issues until you face up with honesty to how you yourself might behave in the same circumstances.

I agree 100% with what aus3620 says about political correctness.  It's how it has always started.
