CM is like a kid getting the keys to the candy store. This is what my younger self wished someone would invent someday. Its my ideal game. If there's a problem its that we've got too much of a good thing. We've become jaded from overexposure. We're like 'Ho hum, there's a Sturmtiger on the map now.' 
One of my pastimes is going on Youtube and watching younger folks react to classic pop songs or classic movies. Its heartwarming, it reminds me of the rush of experiencing something great 'for the first time'. We older CM players can't go back to experience discovering the game for the first time but we can enjoy what we've got 

Just downloaded the game.  What beautiful graphics!!  Great looking terrain, buildings, vehicles and solders.  The AI seems better also.  Hats off to Battlefront, very good job.  

If it makes financial sense for BFC, I'm all for it.
My favorite part of this will be all the CM haters on the Matrix/Slitherine forums having to suck it.
Very glad that we'll be able to continue to buy and install direct from BFC if we desire.

Today I preordered the big bundle CMSF.  I have all of the old modules.  I paid full price because CM is the only games I play.  I hope the CM is a profit making operation.  I enjoy all of their games and hope they make even more.  Thanks CM gang.
