I currently find myself at a standstill on what campaign to try next. Last campaign I completed was "A Moment in Time" via CMBN. The scenario holding the bridge with Kriesgmarine was challenging. Kriegsmarine units really suck! I also enjoy many of the advanced tutorial campaigns as the battle size suits me. (Highly recommend the CMFB tutorial campaign. It's incredible.) I own every title and enjoy them all separately, but I definitely prefer WW2. I prefer to play Allies but like to control German units too. Anyone got a fav they could recommend?

Oh yeah! I want the Siege of Tobruk too. Gimme those Aussie slouch hats! Wonder if they could fit Crete in there somewhere. So many possibilities.

Yeah, North Africa would be great. The mix of German armor with Italian infantry in a new terrain set all covered in dust. Count me in!

Any scenarios that depict the breakout attempts after Hitler's suicide? Specifically the Charlotten bridge attempt. I could see that being especially challenging!

For me the maps. Looking forward to some city/town battles. Secondly RT being upgraded to the current patch. Third... partisans and volksturm.

Yeah. I, for one, can't even play RT in its current form. Having infantry abandon foxholes under heavy arty fire is just too much. On the bright side, CMBN is really enjoyable now with the latest patch. Hedgerow battles are pretty brutal.

I hear you. That's why I said it would be nice if it was "moddable." I just prefer the ragtag look instead of the uniform look of the early war.

Okay perhaps moddable with the heer/ss then. Wow. You guys have put so much work in. Amazing!

I at first hated playing as the Soviets since I'm fairly methodical and cautious. But you just gotta let that go. Take the casualties and keep pushing. Instead of throwing 1 platoon at the enemy throw 3. But the US airborne are definitely my favorite. Great morale and they have an answer for almost every problem.

Details the lesser known massacre during the Ardennes Offensive. Interesting subject that doesn't get talked about enough.

I like how crudely made the British tanks look. I'm partial to the Cromwell in particular.

I think if we were talking about effectiveness the Churchill Crocodile comes to mind. Might not be the "best" but it really got the job done in 44/45.
