  1. Is it me or is it not possible to get US cluster arty in QB's πŸ€”
  2. Will it be technically possible for modders to add the "popcorn" to the Dragon flight animation / audio? πŸ€”
  3. ... just fired my first Dragon at an unlucky T-62. . . . sadly no "popcorn" πŸ˜• is this something that could be "modded"? πŸ€”
  4. Ha! I woke up at 3am, checked my email, jumped up and started the download. But hadn't checked YouTube yet (it's 4:15 am now). I hope @Hapless knows how much we love this content!
  5. ... and I'm sure @Hapless has a few video exposΓ©s under way already? [crosses fingers] πŸ˜‰
  6. Thanks guys, appreciate what should have been more obvious to me as a solution. And keep up the good work and the content coming @Hapless. I hope you enjoy producing these vids because many folks really enjoy following your channel and look forward to the next one. It clearly takes planning, time, and work to make such quality content - so thanks for that.
  7. I'm on MacOS Big Sur and when you run the "activate" script (which seems to be badly bugged graphically but does work) you get a purple box that says "Total Destruction".
  8. πŸ› Minor typo in mission briefing for "The Rites of Spring" battle. "... were choked were choked with mud,"
  9. Here's what's likely a very "buck private" level question: How does one in CM:SF2 (with Marines module) get to access the Rahadnak Valley Map in quick battles? I note that @Hapless made good use of Rahadnak Valley in his latest must-watch episode of Combat Mission TV on "skill" levels.
  10. OK I've finished the book on kindle in one day* but CMCW is still not out. Now what? πŸ˜‰ *(a great read and story minus the ridiculous number of big typos)
  11. When it comes to Rosetta the operative phrase for sure is, "we will see" πŸ˜„
  12. Is this the end of CM on Mac? // Apple moving to ARM πŸ€” https://www.theverge.com/2020/6/22/21295475/apple-mac-processors-arm-silicon-chips-wwdc-2020
  13. Thanks for the efforts, @Ultradave. They sent what, 11 Elephants to the whole theatre for one beachhead battle? We are here for the CM accurate portrayal and realism - even if folks like me try to turn QB's into some kind of "world of tanks" "Kursk of the south" under the Italian sun!
  14. Actually, RTFM! But the *right* manual. GL manual states for Elefant "Available beginning... February 1944". Hmmm, πŸ€”this requires more testing but I'm not sure this is true in QB? EDIT - update: Yes, for QB's the Elefant is "available beginning Feb 1944" but only through June 1944.
  15. Cherry picking specific vehicles in non-historic QB's is all part of the BF CM fun. Do we know if there is a list of TO&E vehicles and dates available? Trying to "find" the right date to get a German 'Elefant' in a QB is painful. There's got to be a spreadsheet somewhere, yah?
  16. 🀩 Check. Your. E-mail. πŸ’₯ Enjoy. Your. Weekend. Thanks BF!
  17. Aloha! Anyone finding all kinds of vehicles are invisible (pixel-troopen tankers floating in air) in QB's? Hellcats Sherman 76's Priests Sherman 105's etc Solutions to this? I have all the CMFI licenses - MAC OS Thanks
  18. By "missing" do you mean "not in the selection options" or "invisible"? Because I have invisible Sherman 76's and Priests in my QB's. πŸ€” Tankers floating in air.
  19. Yes, this is it. Thanks. sburke is not the one getting old, I couldn't work out there were two scenario names that looked exactly the same but were different. Thanks for putting up with my confusion.
  20. But maybe the "duh" reply is then: (1) re-download the demo (2) install in parallel to the full CMSF2 (3) grab the Wilcox .btt file and move it into purchased CMSF2 Would installing the CMSF2 demo along with the paid CMSF2 break any settings?
  21. Hey Erwin & George MC - I'm wondering if I should be seeing "The Passage At Wilcox" as part of my CMSF2 purchase? @37mm has a dropbox archive of CMSF scenarios that includes something that looks like "The Passage At Wilcox" I played in the demo - but it's not the same and isn't updated? It's called "Tactical Vignette 99-2 The Passage at Wilcox SF2.btt" I am going blind or is there somewhere I can get the btt file that was part of the October 2018 demo release? Or is that as simple as re-downloading the demo and getting the btt file out of the demo folders? Thanks for all the work folks like you do to add great value to CM games.
  22. πŸ€” I spent a lot of time playing something called "CMSF2 demo" that @Battlefront.com announced on October 17th, 2018. It had the excellent "Passage to Wilcox" battle. It appears that it was / is not the same as "Tactical Vignette 99-2 The Passage at Wilcox" that is in the collection highlighted in this thread?
  23. Outstanding 37mm & IanL. Thanks, Ian - that's heaps of effort to put together. Curious as to what is meant by "The Blitz Size Modifier"? Also - I have been wondering what happened to "The Passage to Wilcox" battle that was in the SF2 demo? It never showed up in my SF2 purchase? I see there is something very similar in this collection - but still wondering what happened to the SF2 demo version? http://www.combatmission.lesliesoftware.com/ShockForce/Scenarios/Tactical Vignette 99-2 The Passage at Wilcox SF2.html This is clearly a starting point for the SF2 demo but has map with more extreme ground slopes and appears to lack the key intersection that had the IED?
  24. Aloha 37mm this is an amazing collection that makes SF2 great value for me. Thank you. More CMSF customers could be made aware of it! As a side note are there any tools / tips for making it easier to catalog / view scenarios and maps both inside and outside of the CM applications? Most of the time I play QB's or scenarios I really just want to see a map overview but it becomes guesswork and memory games.
