Thank you for the high praise, my maps are a personal point of pride and I do my best to make them feel absolutely real... and coming from you, it definitely means a lot!
 
I still hope to publish more scenarios eventually... I have several sitting in my folder waiting for either some final touches or an AI plan... but it's summer in Alaska and that means I've spent all my available time on the river with my fly rod. But winter is fast approaching and with the bitter cold brings more time to sit at my computer and crank out scenarios!

Okay, I finished up the battle shown in post #80 above. Here's a short, cinematic video of my tanks flanking one of the Tigers. The Germans surrendered a couple of turns later.
 

It looks like I'm back doing buildings again. How many? I can't say right now, health and other matters could affect how many I finish. Since they are from-scratch, they take a lot of time and effort, so don't expect them very often.

I'll probably upload them as I finish this time, rather than waiting many, many months, like last time. I've only finished one so far and it is higher resolution than stock, hopefully the rest will be too. I still have a little more to do, but it should be available within a day or two.

Here is a quick (err--not cinematic) video lark: thirteen minutes of turn-based play threaded together continuously from a single camera angle. It shows Phase I of a town assault (Huge SP QB Probe with a 20% advantage to the Germans). I’ve got a battalion of 43 Soviet infantry (ATRs, ATGs, and some MGs stripped), supported by two companies of T-34/76s, arty and some AA units. The Germans have a Grenadier battalion, supported by two Tigers, a company of 50mm ATGs, plentiful arty and two Stukas. All units are Typical.
 
Before I started saving the replays, the Stukas took out most of a platoon of my infantry in the setup zone. The MG team charging in the advance on my left flank is doing so because its MG was knocked out earlier. And, yes, there are a few friendly fire incidents with my tanks. I misjudged the elevation and they hit the trees near my troops a couple of times.

Here's really your options when assessing the Armata:
 
1. Learn virtually everything about modern tank systems, spend hours gazing at the photos released of the platforms, reviewing claims, learning Russian and come to your own conclusions based on a well balanced technical perspective.
 
2. Ignore virtually everything.  Wait until the tank actually comes out and enters duty.
 
The Armata has gone beyond being simply a tank in Russia and it's now a propaganda tool.  The Russian government and the government owned media has made some pretty dubious claims....and then Russian fanboys have added onto those claims to a positively insane level of performance well beyond what engineering, science, and human technology is capable of at the moment.  So from that all we have is fairly modest estimates made by outside professional sources that paint a picture of what could be a pretty good tank (assuming you overcome a lot of technical and economic hurdles)....or the Russian version which is a little short  of being the personal chariot of the god-emperor putin's warthrone that is immune to all HATO nuclear weapons and will bring the Russian people to their rightful place ruling over the American eastern seaboard with no losses.
 
It's fairly reasonable to assume the Armata is still going to react poorly to most modern 120 MM sabot type projectiles given the current state of the art in ERA, APS, and passive armor arrays.
