  1. Hello, Simple question is, why there are no armored carriers, mg tankettes, lend & lease halftracks etc for sovjet? When playing online, both mech inf, it feels like cheating, when Germans have halftracks, usually with gun-mounted versions, but most tech Soviets have is maxim and atr. Is it historically accurate? I remember in CMBB, Russians had thing or two in QB-mech inf. Even BA is in armor category!

  6. Good discussion here. My mistake was, that Panther was buttoned, so was IS, but advantage was in him side, because my tank was moving. What you think about (slow) -command? Better than hunt? I found that every vechile drove quite fast, even on hunt. Not so good for spotting, dunno? Slow with armor arc?
  7. This is what I excepted. Had none other way to try. Enemy had 3 tanks, that IS front of me, and we were on map edge. I did not want to risk Panther by moving it to left, because feared those two tanks could hit my armor sides. So, only way what I found was to try hunt it down right after that howitzer bombardment.
  8. How to take out IS-2? Yesterday, in pbem battle IS-2 took out my 2 Panthers. They did not even have time to react on fire. After first casualty, I made short 102mm howitzer strike towards its positions and ordered remaining Panther to hunt it down. IS-2 made the first shot and it went right through the whole Panther. Are there possibilities to take that beast out with other, than Schreck and faust? How?
  9. Kieme(ITA). what tree mod you are using? I tried one transparent mod, but the trees were too ghostly, I did not like it, but your screenshots look good.
  10. Well, could this be labelled as some kind of bug? At least I assume, when leaving purchase for the computer, that troops are somewhat in balance.
  11. Hi, We have played many H2H Quick Battles and found out, that in automatic purchase, Soviets get no vechiles, when Germans get ,depending from the size of battle, 1-4. What is the reason for this?
  12. Well, in the movie first there was bright weather and max vis. Suddenly there came night. I changed immobile guys fanatic-lunatics. Well, this is just playing.
  13. Maybe I should modify tank crew to crack and fanatic up 100% Well, no chance to ending result.
  14. So I made Russian Fury. Battle lasted four minutes. Maybe the map size should be little bigger. Immobilized T-34 (early) and company of crack grenadier. One faust hit the tank, did not kill it, but crew opened the hatch and took fast death from 10 000 bullets.

  16. Well actually, that movie makes sense then? I am sorry, did not much think the timeline where the movie is. -44 SS is indeed different than -45 SS, I presume.

Many, who like to watch these kind of movies, war movies, often are interested in war history etc. Maybe that´s why some of us dont like these kind of movies, especially when the main character is ww2 tank. We know somewhat what kind of capabilities it has and also know a little how well SS was experienced and equipped. I enjoy action movies a lot, but when it comes to war movies, I expect some kind of realism when the subject is "what has happened" -genre. Just my opinion, nothing more. If there would have been bear-mounted siberian elite partisans in the fury, the movie would have been quite good.
  18. If someone could make a scenario for it and share for playtesters, it would be cool. Playable via both sides. I am interested how much casualities sherman would take before the ultimate downfall. There is some open space for the tank to have as "advantage" in the scene, but cant say if it is over panzerfaust range?
  19. Hello all, I dont own CMBN, so I turn for those who can make this test, and are willing to. I don´t like Fury ending. There we have one immobilized M4A3E8 76mm vs 300 SS-soldiers. It would be interesting, if someone could make a map where one could test how situation, and how fast, could go if played as SS (or vice versa) against the situation and make a video about it. What you guys think? This was just a suggestion. I own cmrt myself, some kind of similiar test could be made, but not as good as it can be made with cmbn.
