[Looking for an opponent FI / BN]

Hi. 
 

I'm looking for an opponent for a relatively small battle, platoon + extras (tanks, AFV, artillery)
 

I’ve played CM for years and have everything bar FB and Afghanistan. 
 

Recently moved from SF and going back to WW2 titles. 

I’m struggling a bit with tactics and hoping for a bit of a learning game so someone who’s happy to give a bit of feedback after the battle would be great. 
 

Im free most evenings and will be able to get a couple of turns off most nights if anyone’s interested. I’m in the UK if that impacts on time zones etc.

[Best way to learn the game]

Hi guys. Long time player of Combat Mission (Started years ago with CMBO). 
 

I’m usually a CMSF player these days and starting to get back into the WW2 titles. 
 

I’ve come to realise I’m extremely bad at playing the games. I feel I’m not thinking through actions and not formulating a good battle plan. 
 

What’s the best way to improve my game play. I’ve watched a lot of AARs and instructional videos on YouTube but I feel I’m not improving. 
 

I think I’ve probably been a bit spoilt with CMSF and the modern tech (I usually play US / British forces v Syrian or Uncon. switching to WW2 will be a tougher game and more casualties are to be expected.

would playing again a human opponent be the way to learn (someone who could give feedback and ideas - learning type game)

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any module or expansions planned for CMBS?

I should have expanded my question a bit.....

I thought a 2nd LT had a single gold bar and 1st LT had a single Silver Bar. All my Lt's have single silver, regardless of 1 or 2 LT rank.

Is that right?

I'm playing on a mac, 2.12 CMBN base game only. All of my Lt's rank are indicated by a single silver bar, regardless if they are 1st or 2nd Lt, I thought a silver bar was 1st Lt

Have I got this wrong or is this a funky Mac issue?

Just a quick question, I'm playing on a MAC and I'd like to download scenarios/maps/mods. I've done this before on CMSF for the PC and it was quite easy, is is still the same process with a MAC or would I need MAC specific mods?

Also,

If I was looking for PBEM opponents is that do-able between PC and MAC or would I need a MAC opponent??
