  1. Thanks both of you. It makes a huge difference to the overall immersion to me and having started modding it myself for CMSF a while back and then abandoned it for your mods I appreciate the amount of work that goes into this.
  2. Yeah, my speed was slow but OK. 600kb/s or so. I was getting nervous though looking at the huge file. Other small companies facing similar challenges split the files... if nothing else it means you don't lose everything when you're dropped, which also results in less complete restarts and thus less bandwidth usage overall. Just a suggestion, especially since there already are multiple files inside the zip. But again, both Eagle Dynamics and eSim Games can have slow servers on occasion but they use torrents as an optional download method, which works great no matter how flooded their servers are.
  3. Couldn't it be torrented like eSim does with Steel Beast Pro PE? Torrents have the advantage that the more people are downloading (and hence seeding) simultaneously, the faster it goes.
  4. I tried the CMSF ones straight off and they work for those units that carry over. I havent gone deep enough to see what units don't. Bit disappointed it still isn't an in game option. /Edit: Not to mention you have to unpack a 2GB file to get to them.
  5. Thanks! I thought I had tried this variant but I guess I was discouraged by the fact that the path marker starts at the vehicles current position. Now that it works I can't remember what I was doing that made them jump out at the start point. Maybe 'dismount' as an initial command? Anyway, all is good now.
  6. My question is directly related but doesn't seem to have been answered, so I'll ask here: When playing WEGO, is there a way to have an APC finish its route and then unload the infantry, in the same turn? I can't seem to get it to work (they always jump out and watch the Striker race to his destination), but I'm not sure if it's me or the game and it's a rather crucial mechanic with APCs. Or is the workaround to 'pause' the infantry for the duration of the ride, then 'pause' the apc for dismounting, then withdraw the APC to the overwatch position? That would be awfully hit-and-miss without a preview.
