  1. Can anyone clarify what type of bug this is? Is it specific to the Regimental AntiTank unit, to all AT Guns in general, just to German AT Guns - or just to the 75mms? I'm sure I've used 75mm ATGs before and not seen this problem.
  2. AT Gun Number 3: These guys also decided to move position without consulting anyone and are also now refusing all orders. However, upon closer inspection, not only do they have no AT Gun, they also don't appear to even exist! One more shot, just to be sure and they're definitely all wearing Harry Potter-style cloaks of invisibility! Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? Has anyone witnessed even vaguely similar types of behaviour? I'm presuming this must be some obscure type of bug, but would love some insight or ideas.
  3. I'm currently playing a PBeM QB as the Germans, with auto purchases. The computer issued me with a Regimental AntiTank Unit and they've started behaving very strangely, to say the least. AT Gun Number 1: Where's the AT Gun? A great field of fire, but no sign of the 75mm AT Gun Number 2: After about 4 or 5 turns, these boys just started bugging out - moving to the bottom right corner of the map. They originally started about where the AG is now, but then decided to clear out. They have now sat in their current position, refusing all orders, despite having a clear LOS to some Soviet AGs. They also don't appear to be in possession of an AT Gun... They're also facing the wrong way: Post continues below:
  4. Trailer for 'Stalingrad' seems to suggest it might be a bit more than just a VFX-fest. <nationalstereotype>The Russians tend to make pretty thoughtful films on the whole</nationalstereotype> Stalingrad Trailer
  5. I tend to only attack vs the AI, give them an infantry only mix, with a +25% force adjustment. Usually makes for a fairly challenging fight...
  6. Thanks for the replies - I'm still struggling to find the best way to use the Italians on the attack, does anyone have any other useful tips?
  7. No, I don't mean their stereotypical national characteristics, I'm after an explanation as to how/why their TO&E translates into CM Whilst the US, German and Commonwealth units are broadly similar in terms of organisation, the Italians are completely different. Within the infantry formations, there are almost as many HQ units as there are infantry squads. I understand that not being able to split teams reflects their lack of tactical flexibility at squad level, but why so many HQs? I'm used to keeping my HQ units out of harms way and maintaining proper C2, but if I do this with the Italians, I end up with only half my troops actually doing any fighting. And let's face it, these boys need all the help they can get. Can anyone enlighten me as to what CM is reflecting with this plethora of HQs and more importantly, offer some advice on the best way to use Italian infantry. The normal split-squad-overwatch-and-manoeveur tactics I'm used to employing aren't happening with Mario, Luigi and the gang. Che cosa sta succedendo?
