It is obvious, and what it takes to prove?

Not that I don't want any of that, hell that and more frankly. However one does need to keep perspective in order not to build for disappointment. Hope is good, but hope with a dose of as reality gut check is also important.
Snow for example. What textures do you mean? If you are looking for some kind of depth perspective, I suspect that is an engine limitations. I don't know that BF can give us any feel for depth with stuff tied to the map surface. They are able to do somethings for grass, tall grass etc so perhaps they can. I am hoping, but also trying to keep my hopes in perspective that there may be very straightforward issues why they can't do those things.
Personally I'd love to see a post from BF about what they can and can't do with terrain tiles that provides us a better understanding of what is even possible.
Also this thing of "fixes I've been waiting 8 years for". Wiggun does the same thing. You'd think from those types of comments the engine has made no progress at all in 8 years rather than simply BF hasn't addressed a personal peeve. One example alone - Map overlays. I can't tell you how cool of an item that is and how much of a difference it has made for designers. For those of you who drooled over the HASL maps for KG Peiper just think of the kind of stuff we will start seeing with this family. 3D to scale maps of battles we have read about/gamed for years. I don't really care if it is a straight feature port. I can't wait to see these.
This is a new game (I'm not interested at what the engine is made - it's not my problem) and I have my expectations (we all have them) - I hope to increase the quality of the product and the new content, so I made a list of what would make me particularly interested in - and this everything.if I have to pay another 55 bucks there must be something more than a new campaign / scenarios and a number of new vehicle modelsWiggum15you are not aggressive, they just are oversensitive -
and I repeat it again - I want to see improved in the new CMB:- Textures of snow - I do not want to look at a copy transferred from CMFI- Sounds (separate ambient for winter)- New volumetric effects- Particle effects- New UI- I do not want to look at is not scratched tank - air bomb hitfixes, which I'm waiting for 8 years.
-
buy, under several conditions (very small)- New UI (all orders must be visible)- New effects for fire, explosion and smoke - now it looks very archaic; (and some minor bug fixes- After the explosion of the tank should be several damaged parts - or should "disappear" after being hit bomb- A new cloud shadows - crisper / visible- A new and separate ambient for winter and winter windI look forward to these amendments for 8 years

You can clearly see that the quality graphics setting for those Bulge screenshots are set at about balanced or lower, it looks nothing like what a final product would ala Battle for Normandy or Black Sea.

the truth is that we see the final product, it looks the same as in CMFI - I guess nothing will change here - because it never changed.ps. quality settings, only change the display range of graphic detail - even as you set on the "best" it will not change anything on the screen -
Its alpha and they are obviously running that build at "balanced" or lower quality, its not supposed to be representative of the final product.
I do not remember the photos of the alpha version somehow different from what we see in the final product.

One more thing, it looks like texture transferred from CMFI - a lack of snow on the branches of trees - it looks bad

I also add my vote to several others on here that I sure would like to see it as a module rather than a stand alone. That way I can still play on maps I already made, plus, hopefully it would add a bit of content to the Normandy/ Market Garden scenarios. (Plus, I hate to keep installing the same program over and over, simply wastes space on the hard drive.) They were talking about a NEW CMSF instead of a 3.0 upgrade. Probably easier, but that city map I spent 200 or so hours on.... all wasted. I loved how CMBB went from, well Barbarossa to Berlin. I could build scenarios to mix and match whatever equipment I wanted. (I also love the early war stuff.)
Once again, MODULE PLEASE, even if it's still $55. (I know that throws a wrench into their "CMBN Master Installer" theory though.)
Mike
it is not cost-effective - let it be a separate game, the problem is that it looks like the module (several new models, scenarios / campaigns etc) and they want us to pay for a new game - for new consumers may be attractive - but for someone who has CMBN together with modules is the bank heist
I did not buy - I did not buy a package of vehicles for which there is still no scenarios - I do not want to feel like a cash cow
fix which they call "patches"
patches which they call "upgrade"modules that are called "games" -
Improved movement? Are you talking animations here or sound...?
the only sounds, I added new effects equipment and more "clean" sound

These sounds have to switch to mono 44100 mhz

small fix for incoming projectiles
copy and paste : BLACK SEA universal sounds - incoming artillery
-
I recommend to play only in the turn-based system - in real time - we will have a slide show on the screen.
Besides, very cool campaign
-
Whoa, that looks perfect! And like a lot of work.
One question: do I need to copy the whole 500 MB into each games Z-folder separately?
for CMFI remove noises of the Russian infantryfor CMBN remove sounds Russian and Italian infantryfor CMRT remove sounds for the American, Italian and Polish infantryAll are located in the folder "voice"of course, you can also try to delete sounds optional -
Thank you. I just loaded it to CMBN and am enjoying the difference in a battle as US troops. Will you or do you somewhere already have the German and British voices?
just working on this, but it may take some time)
