  1. Not reliable source, alas. Russians are throwing more and more troops to Kreminna, so situatin there very hard and changable in continuos Russian counter-attacks and meeteing engagements. Here is Russians claimed they destroyed UKR position in treeplant near Kreminna, killing 7 and capturing 11 soldiers. They initially suppressed them with AGS, 2S9 SP-mortar and BTR-82A fire, that made outflanking maneuver and came in the rear. Looks like this wasn't real position, because no any trenches, just severeal rifle cells. Probably this unit advanced here and tried to hold ground, but because some reason couldn't manage this timely and was surprized by Russian counter-attack.
  2. Very popular home-SPA recreation thing for tourists in Carpathian mountains )
  3. Current Russian OOB in Zaporizhzhia oblast according to Mashovets: - 58th CAA (Southern military district) ---- 19th motor-rifle division --------- combined groups of 429th and 503rd motor-rifle regimens, consisting of 2-3 BTGs each --------- combined battalion of 4th military base (troops in occupied S.Osetia, Georgia) --------- 292nd SP arty regiment ---- 42nd motor-rifle division --------- combined groups of 70th and 71st motor-rifle regimens, consisting of 2-3 BTGs --------- 2-3 battalions of 78th motorized Special Force regiment "Akhmat-North" (Chechnya, volunteer unit, not only for Chehens, created by Kadyrov and included in composition of 42th MRD) --------- battalion of 291st motor-rifle regiment (in reserve) --------- 50th SP arty regiment - 36th CAA (Eastern military district) ---- two BTGs of 5th tank brigade ---- two BTGs of 37th motor-rifle brigade ---- one BTG of 11th air-assault brigade Auxiliary units: ---- 4-6 battalions of 1430th motor-rifle regiment of Territorial troops and 129th rifle regiment of mobilization reserve of DNR Rosgvardiya: ----- 3...4 combined groups of operative regiments (one of them 141st operative regiment from Chechnya), including Chechen battalions "Akhmat-South" and "Akhmat-Center" Artilelry: 291st artillery brigade of 58th CAA (total 9-10 tactical arty/MLRS groups of divisional and Army level) Army aviation: 3-4 squadrons, periodically reinforcing with 1-2 additional squadrons Total - 25..28 battalion groups
  4. Mid of winter %) Though, maybe this is autumn video, but several days ago we had temperature record for 143 years in Kyiv, +10 C
  5. Aftermath of Russian attempt of advance in grey zone in Zaporizhzhia oblast western of Orikhiv between Russian-controlled village Konovalova and UKR-controlled Mali Shcherbaky village. Russian talks interception at the end of video: "Our regiment has sh...t itself again"
  6. UKR soldier about three more scary things at the war - incendiary ammunition, airstrikes and tanks (on 1st place) The tanky is most scary as for me, because the time for shot-hit very small, ammo is fast and fragments fly apart stout. Plus, the enemy has this sh..ty stuff fu...g many much, they can work daily from 5-7 km and they don't spare its. So, when I hear that "era of tanks is gone" I laugh hystericaly.
  7. UKR DeepState OSINT group, which makes daily situation map, has written own conclusion after learning of developments of last 3-4 days in Zaporizhzhia oblast. - there is no big Russian offensive - but there were local simultainous probes to advance of four directions in Orikhiv area with forces in two platoon on each direction - initially enemy managed to push our troops on 2 km, but later UKR arty strike and counter-attack have returned status-quo. - interesting, that Russian propaganda has drawn maps with Russian zone of control already near Orikhiv or even inside the town, but now they talk about success in grey zone only.
  8. LostArmor forum about conditions of 150th motor-rifle division. Whole division, which on paper consists of two tank and two motor-rifle regiments, now can field only two BTGs with a lack of officers. - 150th has one BTG near Maryinka. The second BTG has been withdrawn for rest. - So, 150th is now able to keep only two BTGs? Damn, they were battered a lot! - They wanted to form the third, but no available commander staff. They then wanted to pull officers from existing two, but there also lack of officers and many of them don't want to leave own subordinates. - Bonus in comparison with Great Patriotic War - almost all after treatment returned back in own units. - They suffred losses as far as in time of battle for Mariupol. It was a time!
  9. @sburke Colonel Georgiy Shuvayev, chief of artillery and missile troops of 1st Guard Tank Army (simultainously was a commander of 288th artillery brigade of the same Army). Was killed on 1st of Oct
  10. Russian soldier asks in TG channel of some Russian volunteer, who cares about counter-sniper training and equipmnent either he has at least one sniper, because on their position UKR sniper in two days killed 16 men - 12 in one day and 4 in other. He got the answer, that no available sniper for now.
  11. Old D-1 152 mm howitzer in Wagner service. Effective range 12,4 km.
  12. In last 3-4 days UKR artillery has struck some targets on left bank of Dnieper in Oleshky area and on "Nibulon" shipyard facilities near Hola Prystan'. According unconfirmed information large Russian column and ammo dump were destroyed. Also in last two days General Staff reported about strikes at Russian SAM positions
  13. First appearance of ex-UK "Sea King" in UKR service
  14. How to take position without (visible) losses for both sides. Russian assault group (10+ men) attacks UKR position somewhere in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Looks like they surprised two UKR soldiers, who guarded the trench and after short skirmish (interesting that both sides fires each other from knife range, but didn't hit) they retreated along the trench. Russians chase them. On second video Russians move along trenches, throwing grensdes in blindages and two other UKR soldiers ran out from blindage, successfully retreating. Looks like both sides didn't understand where the enemy. Upper video - first part, lower - second part
  15. Small anchor mine YaRM for riverine purpose was thrown on UKR-controlled bank of Dnieper shore in Kherson oblast. This mine can be set in shallow waters (speed of current no more 1 m/s) on the depth 1-12 m. Sensor of the mine positioned in 10-30 cm under surface. Weight of mine 13 kg (3 kg of HE inside). Dimensions 27.5 cm in diameter and 51 cm in height. According to unconfirmed information these mines used in Vietnam by sabateurs for mining of possiblle anchor stands and routes of PBRs. Probably this mine was set by Russians for defense of left bank in Enerhodar area and it was torn from anchor. But Ukraine also has such mines on armament.
  16. Some minor frontline changes: - Heavy clashes near Dibrova and forest around Kreminna. Russian LostArmour forum member told several days ago he talked with soldeirs from there, according their words Dibrova is firmly under Russain control, but UKR can shell it from three sides. UKR troops moved forward on 3 km in the forest, but further encountered fierce resistance and were stopped. In own turn Russians tried to counter-attack, but without significant success. But now UKR soldiers of 95th air-assault brigade say Russians attack continuosly, but they hold the ground. Russian media claimed new reinforcement of VDV and mech.unit arrived to Kreminna to fight back UKR advance. - UKR 81st airmobile brigade after mortar shelling and assault seized enemy positions near Western water pump and filter station on the bank of Siverskyi Donets river in about 2 km north of Bilohorivka village. The hill and pump statin under this hill were seized by UKR forces after long heavy clashes about month ago. - Russian TG complains that elements of 27th motor-riflle brigade almost without fight completely pissed off Novoselivske village on Svatove direction, which they with hard had been recaptured almost two months. This tiny village is like a bridgehead of heavy fortified by Russians Kuzemivka
  17. "Azov" SOF regiment in the clashes on southern section of Bakhmut front "Azov" SOF regiment initially was territorial defense unit, established in Kyiv by "National Corps" movement, but proper training amd effective work allowed them already in mid of March to became a part of Special Operations Command. Also since October first new-trained units of "Azov" of National Guard engaged the enemy in southern part of front
  18. Krasna Hora area, SW of Soledar Madyar tells Wagners are continuouslly sending assult groups nine men each one by one. Only his comrade spotted five such groups and three of them were eliminated completely or almost completely. On the second video he says "I offered you to show all story how we destroyed 27 "worms", but next day they have thrown next parties, so afer 50 dead "worms" I have stopped the count ("worms" - ukr. "khrobaky", branded Wagners's byname of Madyar, which already became a meme. Wagnres are digging in in trenches and holes, like warms, so from this he derived this name) Full video (30+ minutes) in Madyar's TG: https://t.me/robert_magyar/364 Not only "Birds of Madyar" effectively target enemy - here is command center of special aerial recon platoon "Seneca" (called by the callsign of their commander) of 93rd mech.brigade. Inetresting that "Seneca" is semi-official unit of this brigade. All platoon personnel indeed has completely other military duties by "shtat", but in real they created own drone unit and their "services" turned out so effective, that many other units "hire" them for own tasks. Despite most of 93rd brigade has left Bakhmut sector for rest, "Seneca" platoon returned back after short pause. One of results of "Seneca" work Chevron
  19. Sweden is top. I always liked their weapon
  20. Zeleban posted a video yesterday and I commented it according to General Staff statement and different RUMINT. This was somewhere between Orikhove and Huliaypole. Minor tactical attacks. Maybe this is first probes, maybe Russians have seen "offensive" in platoon sized atatck.
  21. From negative news, which I heard today execpt no Leos and GLSDB, I point next: - "Spiegel" has thrown a news as German intelligence deeply concerned with enormous UKR losses around Bakhmut of "three-digits number for a day" (new cause don't send Leos, because they will be uselessly destroyed) - Mark Milley made a statement that despite Russia lsot more 100000 of troops, they are substituting own losses, UKR losses also very significant, Russia destroyed power infrastructure, have been killing civilians. He doubts UKR will be able to expel Russians up to the end of year. And sooner or later both sides will be forced to end this war on the negotiation table to avoid further losses. (hello Korean scenario?) - As if US strongly recommends to UKR to shift terms of new offensive until all Western military aid arrive and troops will be trained. (PsyOps?) Though, Mark Milley is that guy who predicted "72 hours for Kyiv falling with 15000 UKR loses and 4000 Russian losses"
  22. As I know Krabs are mostly for artilery brigades level. Though I have seen and Krabs in some mech.brigade composition.
  23. S-200? What? This complex was decomissioned already long time ago. I doubt specialists remained, who can operate with it...
  24. Since Poland is buying Abrams and K2, I think, this question will not priority in the future. Also I read several years ago an article (it was from Russian side) that as if Poland encountered with enough expencive cost of exploitation of Leos in comparison with T-72/PT-91, so most of German tanks as if were moved to reserve. If this true, it becomes clear Poland wants to get rig of unnecessary tanks, which will not have a place in future of Polish tank forces.
