I am using the square unit icons with the NATO symbols and some of them have a 1 in a small circle underneath, some have two or three of these circles. what do they signify?

I am playing Gold and reading the manual it says I right click on a unit and it will detach itself from the HQ when I choose the detach option. I have done this but can"t find this option, I can't see the attach option either. Am I missing something?

I am running Gold but not sure if these are gold version compatible.

When I try and load some campaigns such as "1938 Calm before the storm v3.7" ,"Nupremal- Waffen SS" and some others, I get a "segmentation violation" error message. Anything that can be done to fix this?

I am playing the Gold version of the game. I am unsure how to proceed with convoy hunting. Do I simply place my subs (German) on the tiles where the white convoy ship icons are located? If so how do I avoid being sunk by the RN given that they know where I am? Am I missing something LOL? another related question, if I use planes do I target the convoy ship icons as well or are convoys represented as units that I can target with both planes and subs?

I know that the end date can be adjusted...I am assuming that the start can as well. My concern is if I start the World at War campaign in 1938 what are the problems that may arise out of this? Will the AI act accordingly and build up or stay stagnant for example.

Is it possible to adjust the the brightness and/or contrast in the game? Is it also possible to adjust the scroll speed for viewing the map?

I was looking through the scripts in the 1939 world at war campaign and noticed that there are many scripts in the Convoy section that are repeated 2 or three times...is this normal?

Can the end date of a campaign be changed to make it longer? If so, how?

I am playing global conflict gold and downloaded 1938 Calm before the storm v3.7 and 1939 World in Flames from the repository. When I load up Gold these campaigns are not in the list for me to choose. I am not sure whether I have installed them correctly. What I did what take the folder from each of these mods and copied them into the "campaigns" folder and the .cgn files as well. This worked when I started Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict but not when I started Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict gold. Any help would be appreciated.
