    Hello 37MM,
Greatly appreciate the effort in curating these "All In One Mod Packs" - I am using them all for each Combat Mission Title available!
I added in the "CatTactical Icons" and "Juju's UI V6" instead of the V5, and everything looks great!
I just wanted to say thanks for posting your modpacks all together on your download link.
I was also wondering, if you have any experience or are interested in "Reshade 5.2.2" for Combat Mission; I have been using Reshade with all Combat Mission games and have a tweaked Reshade Profile (screenshots below) if you are interested in using for yourself, or if you wanted to integrate it into any modpacks. Reshade takes more technical steps to install and get running but it is not too hard.
Let me know if you are interested in my Reshade 5.2.2 profile, the Before and After screenshots are below.
    Best,
    aexis

I only recently updated to 5.1 and was unaware that there's already a new update.
Subscribers to my channel will be aware that I use reshade a lot, post my own reshade profiles & that my tastes have changed over time.
These days I tend to use a combination of Pirate-Bloom & HDR to help brighten the game up. I also have a few unique & interesting reshade profiles like 'Nightvision' (which relies on Arcane Bloom) & 'Desert' (which comes with a heathaze effect).

The Syrian vehicles are almost entirely from @dpabrams old CMSF "Euroscape" mod & they're indeed very cool... I only had to make a few tweaks, rename a few bitmaps & fill a few missing gaps as part of the CMSF2 upgrade process.
The only current version of H&E is "The People's Beta" (aka H&E version 0.97).
The next version is still WIP but has been delayed by my various "side projects" & the current war in Ukraine.
@Requin87 recently made a video explaining how to use mods for Steam CM's (snowscape mods in this case but the principals are the same for H&E)...

JM Stuff reacted to WimO in Amfreville - Strike Two!
    Hello All:
I am presently working on my final scenario in my series "The 82nd in Normandy". This past week I completed "DeGlopper's Medal of Honor" and "Le Motey" (pronounced moh-tay). The former is single player and the latter H2H. They will be posted when I complete the Amfreville scenario. The reason for the delay is that I will have to repost many of my previous scenarios in  the series because they had to be renumbered to place the DeGlopper scenario in the correct sequence. I also reviewed all of the text files to correct spelling, grammar and numbering errors.
I am posting this because I am seeking assistance gathering information for my final  scenario. It is clear that the second attack towards Amfreville was conducted by 2/357, 90th Inf. Div during the afternoon of the 10th after the 1/357th's failed attempt in the morning, it is not clear if they had armor support.  It is known from the PIR's reports that American armor crossed the  La  Fiere causeway about an hour after the infantry assault. However the  few notes I have found from the 90th's after-action reports make no mention of armor support.
Does anyone have any sources that can help me out?
The problem is similar on the German side. I can find no information to clarify if the Germans moved up any A/Tk guns or if there was any German armor on the ground , like as StuG III's.
Thank you in advance if you have any 'reliable' details.

Wargaming is stochastic, so nothing will ever give you perfect information.
The question then falls to you - if you look at your scheme of manoeuvre, see a piece of terrain and think "gee, it'd really suck if there was an atgm team hiding in there", then you really have a few choices:

You can get eyes-on and try to spot something in there.
You can arrange for a recon by fire, exposing your scout position, but perhaps forcing a response.
You can send a scout element into the terrain piece to actively clear it
You could arrange for indirect fires to proactively deny this terrain feature.

Each option involves accepting a different level of risk, and each provides a different level of information and result. Which is best is part of the Art of the thing - the probabilistic basis of wargaming decisions means that there usually won't be a best answer, just a least-worst one, and which one is correct for you will differ.

Ultimately, you can't spot everything, so the trick is to engage with the things that really matter - to read the terrain and identify the areas that are going to cause you issues, so that your limited resources can be leveraged to the greatest effect.

One more useful tip. British APCs replace the single driver with a 2men team. This way you keep the use of the .50 MG the driver I keep as a medic.

Splitting unit or units in their IFV or ACP. Spit a unit before mounting and give one unit a move order whilst in the vehicle now mount the second unit. Maybe I am dumb, but it is the first time I found this working after years of frustration. If it is during set up give the vehicle a move order too otherwise the unit dismounts.

*SPOILER* SF2 Breaking the Bank. The way to position observers, snipers etc. On the top floor with balconies. Make him face away towards a direction where there are no windows or balconies. Now give him a pause command before placing a cover arc. What I know I know from somebody else. You can do something similar if you want to split units inside transport.

You're wrong if you give them a pause command. To be right with this game you need to study macro management.

Balconies in CM are generally a death trap.  The "trick" re keeping troops away from windows is to give them 180 degree arcs away from the windows so the troops position themselves at the far wall.  Of course if one removes the 180 degree arc, and they see a target, they will rush to the windows to fire.

Yeah I used the Berlin Battalion and added some Brigade level assets.
I don't think I altered the battalion components, besides changing the tanks according to the year that they were probably there. There were M60A2's there up until 1979 I think. Something like that.
This was the source I used, it's probably not perfect. :

Hi @Artkin I see on your screenshots and specialy on this one, that you have something interresting, I dont find it in the flavours objects list from CMBS or CMSF, (the tents in the middle of the forest), did you replace some flavour objects and make a mod yourself, to have this covers, as well some impacts?
If yes, can you provide a link about or perhaps in the future do you think about to share it ?
thanks in advance to your reply
