Did Marco Bergman's ever create any Silhouettes (with ranges) for CMFB?

I think the actual leader of Hungary is Viktor Mihály Orbán who is Prime Minister.
Sorry guys. I got over excited.

The Hungarian President resigned! Here comes Sweden into NATO!
Wow! He was pressured to resign after pardoning a child rapist/abuser. Imagine that.

Ladies and gentlemen, we may have a small problem:
I’m at an event and can’t watch this. What exactly did he say? Is he encouraging Russia to attack NATO to get NATO involved to kick Russia’s butt? Or… did he say something really stupid? Never know with him.

Take my money... Please!!!

I'm tellin' ya... Wikipedia says 2.5 minutes and as we all know, Wikipedia is always right!

So do you think that Ukrainian generals are running the show or the American/EU generals that are feeding the UA strategic and tactical intelligence?

Lee was arguably the wrong general for the South too. Aggressive to a fault.
I'm glad you qualified that. He was kinda in the same position as Yamamoto.

How long did it take to pack up and set up these big guns?
EDIT: Wiki says it can be set up in an AT role in 2.5 minutes...

World War II is definitely more forgiving, when you make a mistake, than the modern titles.
-
Pre-ordered!
I'm sure someone has already mentioned it, but when is the planned release of the Downfall DLC?
-
I would just like to see an expanded ToE. A simple patch that adds modern weapons would be nice. Breathe life back into the game without the risk of being called out as profiteering from the war. Everyone gets to simulate (to an extent) what’s going on over there with little to no risk to BFC.
Players could create the maps and scenarios and upload them to FGM. A compromise that might just leave everyone happy and dying for this damn war to be over. Then BFC could release somefink with proper drone warfare and minefields and such.

+1 for that.
Also I wonder if anything can be done against people who surrender at the beginning and in turn give an insane amount of points to the other player without fighting at all. Kinda skews the leaderboard.
Yeah. That is messed up but I don’t think it happens on the BFC side. I think that is a problem that Slitherine inadvertently causes. It would be nice if BFC could return a negative score number or something that would trigger the system to give 1/2 points or whatever the rule should be.

Thanks BFC for organizing these tournaments. I really enjoyed all the games save one. I hope you learned a lot of lessons you can roll into future tourneys.
Since no-shows are just a way of life with projects like this, may I suggest one thing? Make the first scenario worth the fewest number of points and the last scenario the most. Kinda like some game shows. This way you cull out the no-shows with the fewest number of points at steak. Maybe use somethin’ like ~1000-2000-3000 points for the 1st-2nd-3rd games.
Looking forward to more tourneys! -
Why is the PzIV's gun pointing towards the ground. That must symbolize something.

Arab oppression or European oppression? The funny thing is that while you grant the Israeli people a right to a nation state (which I don't deny; as a matter of fact it's a done deal), you don't allow the Palestinians the same right.
Anyway I don't like to repeat myself, see my previous post.
If what this admittedly armchair historian points out is that the Palestinians were offered states at different times and for different reasons they said not acceptable.
So they are still at loggerheads.

ISW Iran/Israeli/Houthi update. Its a long one but packed with good info and maps:

More Houthi missile shots. I swear the UK is going to be shutting that down shortly:

So adding to the debate I looked up a war I am very familiar with because I was in it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_casualties_in_the_war_in_Afghanistan_(2001–2021)
So best guess is around 46k civilian deaths in 20 years in a nation of around 40 million. Noting that this war was also a “war amongst the people” in complex urban and human terrain. We somehow managed to prosecute that war against both insurgents and a terror group without causing tens of thousands civilian casualties per month. Granted the Gaza war is in early days and their average could drop over time but I would need to see that first. That non-combatant loss rate is around 2100 per year. While the IDF are looking at 12k per month…in a population of 2 million.
That's not a fair comparison Capt. Most of the fighting was in the country. I would think something like Mosul would be closer. That was closer to 9000 (in a month?).
But that is 1.8 million population over 70 square miles. So even that is less populated per sq mile. I could do the math, but I don't think the results would be acceptable as I'm sure war doesn't scale linearly.

I have a few questions:
1. Is Hamas holding civilians as human shields a warcrime?
2. Isn't reducing the length of a war a big factor in the overall reduction in casualties on both sides, or is that just a myth?
3. Would a ceasefire just allow Hamas to dig in deeper?
4. Are combatants that dress in civilian clothes a warcrime or outside the rules of warfare?
Makes ROE rather difficult.

Maybe moving forward we all just post battle reports, technical info, and strategy reports.
Stay away from posting personal court room testimony or whatever you'd call it.
Just an idea.
Or lock it
Yes. You are absolutely right!

The Houthis are finally taking some fire. We are not just knocking down their missiles. This combat may be more appropriate in a game like Harpoon, but this is also happening:
It also looks like the UK is getting ready to attack the Houthis

Thanks @Erwin,
I found a cache of weapons with ranges and armor. Its not complete but it covers most of the equipment. I don't know where I got it either, it was just on one of my hard drives.
If anyone has a link to these Silhouettes, please post it.
