Oh cool! I'm not alone! English prof e-mailed my entire class. No class tonight! Guess it's time for me to start up another game. :cool: I really wanna try to force an early Axis surrender, first by taking Italy, but I can never get that damn border city! And the best UK can do is capture that little island Maybe I'll try the Axis sometime soon.

So I know I'm basically talking to myself but idc. Decided to finish this game up after I got home from class today. I finally won! Maybe next game I'll bump up the ai to intermediate. Oh yeah I feel cool, and I like this --> :cool:

Thank you Hubert! Just loaded up one of my saved games, and France decided to flee to Algeria! Of course I was happy to still have them in the game, but I was shocked because my army was completely destroyed, I thought they would have just surrendered. I love how no two games are the same!

Newbie here! :cool: Just picked up this game and thought I'd write a little journal here on my experiences! I got SC2/WaW/PDE, and I will admit I play PDE 99% of the time! I love the what "if" scenarios, my favorite is the 1947 "Russians are coming" scenario. Really fun! Although I Haven't been able to win yet. Even though I'm able to land in France and push the Russians out I'm never able to gain much ground. I've found this is due to the fact that I'm a very defensive/passive player and compulsively reinforce my 9 strength units haha. I need to learn how to play. Also like the 1939 "Storm of Steel" scenario. I like that you can start earlier and plan your strategy a bit better. But alas, I haven't been able to beat the AI because I'm too passive. I focus a LOT on research and find that even though I have 5/5 with Bombers/Air/Range with USA/UK that I have barely ANY planes to abuse them! LOL! And than the Russians just get stomped because I don't do many invasions, just a little bit of action in the med. But I won't give up! As you can see I LOVE playing as the allies! Don't really like the axis much. Anyways maybe some vets can give me some pro tips! Happy gaming!
