  1. It's 1945. I have taken Perm. The Soviets seem to have no capital. I thought they would surrender. When do they surrender?!
  2. I'm have two problems with the WWII add-on, both in Russia. One, which others have noted, is that it's hard to avoid Stalin declaring war first. But secondly, in my campaign Russian morale starts very high and the morale of many of my German units is low even though they are on the offensive. But obviously high Russian morale and low German morale makes the going in Russia unrealistically tough for 1941. Can anyone explain? Thanks.
  3. Many thanks. Have encountered the same problem with Verdun. Cleared it and couldn't occupy it. Grr.
  4. For the record (I started this thread), I am now in summer 1915 and am grinding down the Russians and with fairly small German forces have been able to take the offensive in Poland while putting up a good show on the Western Front.
  5. Twice I have cleared Arras but the game won't allow me to move a unit into it. The same has happened from time to time in other squares. Can anyone explain?
  6. Once you deal with the Russians and shift your units back to the Western Front what happens?
  7. Thank you Ivanov. Very instructive. Glabro, what happens in the West when you concentrate on the East?
  8. Thanks. But it seems very hard to win a sweeping battle like Tannenburg in the game. Maybe it's because I'm new to it!
  9. Am a novice at this game but from my bit of knowledge of WWI it seems to me that the Russians are tougher than they should be against the Germans. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
  10. This is probably a very silly question. I have Strategic Command: The Great War and have downloaded patch 1.03 but I cannot find 1939 Storm over Europe. Where is it? Thanks.
