  1. The uniform mods came from CMMODS III. Go to the jump list, select CM:Red Thunder, CMRT Infantry, and download Tashtego's and Baron's SS Uniforms. This file also has helmet liners and a bunch of other stuff.

For more helmet liners, go to CM Reposity: CM: Battle for Normandy: Uniforms, and look for German SS Helmet Covers, and German SS Helmet Covers Pt. 2.

    Glad you liked them.

  2. Tashtego,

This is one heck of a shot.  The definition and shading make this look like a photograph of a diorama of 1/35th scale model figures. Stunning.

Thanks, Heinrich. I didn't do much to the screen shot. A little adjustment to brightness, contrast, and sharpness.  I have to give all the credit to CMRT itself, the modders who did the grasses I used, and of course the troops. God bless their little pixel hearts.

  3. I need some help posting screen shots. I've posted in the past with no trouble. But that was then, and this is now, and I can't get them to show up. The screen shots are at Photobucket, and when I copy the link  it looks like this. This doesn't look right to me, and at any rate it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for any help. Mike

  4. During fighting in a town, a Sherman pulled around a street corner onto the town’s main drag.  Located 100 yards down the street, lurking in the shadows was a StuG. The Sherman spotted the StuG , but it was too late, an AT round was already inbound. Now, the only thing the crew of the StuG must have been thinking was, who will by the beer?

Someone in the Sherman’s crew must have been living right because the AT round clipped the edge of a building, and shattered.

The Sherman reversed and roared back around the corner.

Several minutes later, a squad of troopers polished off the StuG.

  5. I should figure it how to take a screen shot. I had a IS-2 shoot at a running panzerschreck. The turn stopped at the end of the minute and you could see the shell just passing between his running legs. The luckiest man alive. (But would that have not at least melted his uniform on his legs?)

Uniform! How about the family jewels!
