  4. This is the second or third time I was asked that Short answer is no. Long answer is that I got my nickname from tribes that settled Istrian peninsula (parts of today's Croatia, Slovenia and Italy) and for some time successfully fought against the Romans.   6. Yeah I concur coming up with radio icon can be hard and I see now why it would resemble the radios of the era (checked pics of them). As for satchel charge I'm sure light or dark brown can make a huge difference. Edit: While you are at it you can also make portable radio icon that units units have more greenish.
  7. Patch delay is also probably a marketing tactic - they sell more CF modules that way. Not that I have anything against it - team deserves good income so that they can survive and produce brilliant games in the future.
  8. I'm perfectly fine with the "shouting" icon but what I do not like is the radio icon which by all means and purposes does not resemble anything connected to radios. Also I can back Juju's opinion on unit bonuses - current numerical ones are far better (more intuitive) then the newly suggested ones by Chris. Binocular icon (and many other new icons while we are at it) seems really good now, superb work! Maybe something can be made with satchel charge icon - it looks like a bucket now doesn't it? Just a minor change can mean big improvement - what if you make it more dark brown so that it stands out a bit more in comparison to other icons? One more suggestion - make the colour of the sea beneath the ship icons more dark blue. As it is there is not enough contrast between water and air.

  10. I have high hopes for tomorrow - I'll apply the patch and if it improves the game I'll go and buy CF module.

  12. Yeah it's freaking sad how people go and die. For the life of me I could not command those men in real life - I already feel bad when I send scouts forward and see them get killed.
  13. No problem - mod should work but new content from CF module is going to be vanilla so you will have a bit of a mismatch.

  15. It's one of the aspects of the game that needs to be made better - it's a no go as it currently is.
  16. Not an illusion - was reported by CF owners that units in the buildings have far greater survivability now as they should have in the first place.
  17. If I understood correctly it also is not possible to be realized from the modders alone - all 3D aspects need to be done by the developers, right?
  18. It does include the patch. There is supposedly a list but not a comprehensive one. What is OOM problem?

  20. Thanx to both of you - especially to Phil for taking time to answer. I guess I'll have to wait for more test reports then - glad that tank subsystem has been partially fixed that's for sure! Consensus about mortars was that they were represented okay but the problem was on the receiving end - men didn't hit the deck in time and kept getting up - that was the reason that caused too many casualties in respect to real data reports. Fix that and you have whole mortar aspect as it should be. What about squads of men not deploying properly in fox holes? That got fixed? Phil, this isn't meant to be non-constructive criticism - I'm sure you guys are doing your best - I'm just sniffing for info on what most important issues have been fixed and what is still left to be "fixed".
