    The NKPA leader gets nailed by somebody. About 20 guys were plinking away at him.

    I am setting up to try and take the orchard and approach in the blind area where the village cannot see me. First I will direct fire at a sound contact in the orchard with the tank, the mortar and the Meatchopper. Their fire is set to turn off after 30 seconds or so. I have a 3-man team on delay and then will try to rush in and maybe get a small toehold in the orchard.

    My force starts on the map and 2-man scout teams move forward up the slope. The rest of the squads split into 2 parts and listen to old sarge who was in dubbya dubbya 2,
    SPREAD OUT!!

    I want to get a few teams to the first spot of high ground and then observe. Maybe somebody with some binoculars. 😮
    I have 2 platoons of rifle squads with limited ammo due to the initial logistics difficulties in Korea. A company commander and a platoon leader are there as well as a 60mm mortar and a .30 cal MMG. I will observe carefully off that left edge in case he has his Maxim out there. I plan to try and take the high ground first and sweep his cabbage chomping commie butt off the hill.

    The North Korean soldiers swam and waded across the Kum River with their equipment kept dry up on their heads. They went through the rice paddy area very quickly and headed for the highground. The ASL scenario has victory conditions of victor holding 2 of 3 options. The 3 options are (1) the highground designated hexes, (2) a multi-hex building - which I now dubbed as "The Temple", or (3) at least 5 of the 9 houses in the village.

    LET US DO THIS AGAIN! I give everybody quite a bit of time. Make a scenario for the community.
    The 3rd time is the charm is this year's motto!
    Alright, 105 days until X-mas. (Julian 358-263=105).
    Let us swamp the community with some scenarios. Use or modify an existing map if you need to (and give polite credit in your briefing or designers notes to prevent accusations of being a dreaded parasite!). Make your own simple map! Use the new CM AutoEditor? No Rembrandts are required! Dial it down to 208 x 208, if needed, the teeniest tiniest map you can make. ANY SIZE MAP IS GOOD! That's what she said! Playable from only one side is AOK. Just make sure to say that guidance in the main cover description. Use just a tiny force. Put the AI on defence and the AI plan is EASIER! Use just a small timeframe of 10 minutes!  I (and a butt ton of others) am here to lend a hand to answer questions or go now and read the famous JonS scenario guide pdf in your main install folder. All these different titles can use some new juices. I got a couple coming down.
    Or whatever size map and time you want!
    In 2021 we got between 16 and 20 new scenarios.
    In 2022 we got 14 new scenarios.
    I am not a CMCW, CMSF2, CMBS modern war bubba but please use this as a reason to make a scenario for those games. This is not just for WW2 games. 
    Best wishes and who wants to post a pledge to make a scenario?

    I have surrendered to Gary. @Heinrich505 He was able to get me out of 4 of the buildings. Everybody is broken or in panic mode.

    Fire up old Bessie CMFI.
    Scenario editor. Mission-data set to June 1944 Italy
    Units-purchase axis-German Army-armor formations
    Purchase Panzer Battalion 43 (mixed)
    On the right side, click up at the overall battalion to expand it out.
    Click up at the + sign to make it reddish. You can expand it all out to companies and platoons also if you want.
    Just make sure it stays reddish on that right panel.
    Down low you have your options, pick Panzer Aufklarung to make it green with an arrow "   >   " in green.
    Then over a few columns select PzIII and PzIIIG
    You should see that platoon change to G's. (in the support company)
    Then make sure the entire battalion stays reddish...
    Down low you have your options, NOW pick Pz IIIN (late) to make it green with an arrow "   >   " in green.
    Then over a few columns select PzIII and PzIIIG 50mm
    You should see that Bn HQ troop change to G's. 
    You can then go back and delete out vehicles and platoons and purchase some long 50mm. My mods have the PzIIIN(late) I forget, my mod makes it a PZIVD.
    I think my mod ditches the skirts with transprencies.
    EDIT: Return date back to July 1943 and save scenario.
    Enjoy North Africa!
    Remember with bitterness how BFC could do all this so easily but are too busy.

    The station has fallen...

    I marked it with an NKPA flag...
    He moves a tank over to mid-field north of the Guvmint Building that hands out free kimchee. My guys in there are in panic mode. That leaves the Post Office, School and Police HQ. I managed to grab ammo from a few trucks and am getting organized to try and defend a little longer. I did get a bazooka round off earlier but it when high and exploded in the branches of a tree.

    Headed to the office so...

    When you convert an ASL scenario over to CM you can try and carry over the victory conditions but typically in my experience it goes beyond the ability of the CM scoring system to make it work. A human player discussion must occur to finalize who wins. In this scenario I must hold at least 2 of the multi-hex buildings as they are called in ASL. Here below you see them as labeled objectives...
    He seems to be bringing both of his 2 tanks up on my left. My right just faces his infantry. I had those US Army trucks in there based on the story of truck drivers first seeing the NKPA approach and hauling butt to the rear. They were also bringing up ammo so I could use that as I am on historical scarce ammo levels.

    On my right I had a nice ambush set up and I reaped a fine harvest of blood! (Corniness Level 7 out of 10?)

    I even nailed one of his commanders! Either it was Hyundai or Kia. 

    I wish I could say the same for my left by the station. The bazooka team is safely back from the wall near the enemy but the MMG is looking to die there. If I can manage to get them all out of there and back to the other buildings...

    I made some good enough 2 cent mound style Korean graves in Blender. 5 minutes.
    Next up in Blender to TRY.
    1) a Korean style farm cart I saw. 4 chunky wood wheels.
    2) garden trellis with vegetables growing.
    3) water jugs - I googled "korean jugs" and ...oh my
    I also want to take a few houses and make them more [korea] looking
    The Kadong-ni map slowly develops...

    v220 is from 8/20/2014 so maybe a patch or an upgrade.
    If you have always used the same PC, you MIGHT still have the download that should give you that brz
    But good advice is to open an official helpticket to talk to a real doctor
