I know what you imply. Adult age in 1948 are probably all mostly dead but would be great grandparents if alive. I think I know what you mean but I see it different, the "national mood". The late 1941 panic I think you refer to can be seen in the movie "1941" where southern California or much of the US west coast were concerned for an invasion. National humiliation was not at all what emotion bubbled up. The Japanese surprise attack was seen as a dirty move and stoked a revenge mindset. I am no PhD to describe it but nationwide recruiting stations were flooded with folks wanting to get them back for Pearl Harbor. Hollywood movies always pumped this to keep the nation fired up. I think your current IDF soldier is NOT focused on "Why did we let this 10/7 happen? We are humiliated!" - But more like December 1941 US males lining up outside the recruiting station. Vengeance oriented. Many previous non-interventionists began a new mindset. The national culture had a spike change for songs, slogans, movies to align behind the nation like never before. Maybe you know if any Steam guys created and shared there in Steam some CM scenarios? I was briefly on Steam and played some Lock n Load ASL style games "Heroes of ...." and made and shared some scenarios. I then departed Steam and moved on. Internet issues on my end and I discovered VASL and vassal and Discord.

Looking at Blimey's CMSF1 mod, he had used (and given credit to others for) some Israeli voices wav files. Made by modders working on a mod for Theater of War I think. Some great recordings! Upon deeper investigation it seems someone ran into the need to copy and paste to "flesh out" the voice slots. The bottom line is all of us non-Hebrew speakers out there will not really know anyway what is being said but we will hear a lot of the same voice clips. I will try my usual method to improve on that. In 2024 I will track down some Hebrew language war movies and do recordings and edit it into some new voice clips. This same issue is holding up the release of the CMFI KOREA 1950 mod. I admit I also have to do the copy and paste to flesh out the voice slots. There are over 300 different voice clips needed for the British force modded to be Koreans and now here as Israelis. But in any regard...an official kohlenklau thank you to @Blimey
