BAR teams, grog question
The Teacher replied to Georgie's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
BAR teams appear alot in films and seem to have been popular in Infantry support roles or even to hunt the odd sniper. So I would say fairly common. -
Scout teams ?

My Girlfriend wasnt happy at all about these wonderful announcments for these reasons 1/ She will become a Battlefront widow, due to the time I will be playing the games. 2/ She saw how excited I was and prepared herself mentaly for my passion and joy at so many new games. I was asked why I didnt get so ' Fiesty ', about visiting her parents. 3/ She knows what is on my mind in celebration of these wonderful announcements and is preparing herself. In the short term - I'm comming to get ya my love. In the long term - The widow effect when the games are on my computer. ;-)

game bug or realistic?
The Teacher replied to Jorge MC's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Realistic to a point but unlikely. During the war tanks were disabled by wire wrapping itself around the bits and pieces ( tracks, iddler wheels etc etc). Its why in some cases they stayed out of vine yards. Whether a farm fence has enough wire to have this happen is very questionable. -

Im thinking I might try modding buildings
The Teacher replied to The Teacher's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
Time to look around for a good price on Photoshop and then begin my journey to hell and frustration. There are alot of Photoshop versions available. Any suggestions ? -
It can and did, Ive been reading many military accounts over the years and lets just say almost anything can happen and will in war. eg. A Sherman ramming a King Tiger in an open field...big nuts required. A long burst from a MG42 taking out the driver of a Sherman which then goes out of control and plunges down a 80 foot ravine. Not only did the rest of the crew survive but they also managed to drive the tank back out. Basic thing is that anything can happen and its fantastic that Battlefront have included the ' anything can happen'.

Thanks for the advice guys. What I will be hoping to achieve is just basic stuff at first. As a complete novice at Photoshop which Im going to get in the comming weeks, Im hoping to just start out with a few walls etc. It may take months but Im going to give it a try. Then again I could just wait and someone else will get it done well before I ever will.
