  1. Schedule until release: 1. From today onwards, I will stop all CM-work due to professional reasons until January 11th 2024. Of course you can always contact me via the forum of e-mail, if you like to volunteer for testing of if there are questions. 2. The final test runs will continue in the almost 6 weeks until January. Enough time for all testers. At this point, a big THANK YOU again to all of you !!! 3. But I still have one big request: It would be very nice if at least one more tester could be found for the campaign "Our Father". So, if you are interested: it´s an almost finished product, ready to be played !!! 4. When I will be back on January 11th 2024, I will make some fine corrections: = some missions need still some more flavor objects = special thanks goes to @pintere who does the very laborious work of correcting my poor English and optimizing the briefings - before release, I will add these briefings to the missions. = as of now, there is one smaller mission, that needs a real rework, which will take about 3 days - may be, there will be 2 - 3 more single missions, which need some rework, but this should be manageable without release delay.   2. It is finished. All 5 campaigns are in beta versions in the test run. The players will have 52 - 55 single missions depending on the branch they choose in one of the campaigns. In total, I have created 58 single missions. The number of mastermaps is now also certain: there will be 20 mastermaps included. Below is a brief overview of the schedule leading up to the release.   3. Tonight I'm completing the last of the 5 BattlePack campaigns. The "Our Father" campaign now includes 14 individual missions. Depending on the branch, that means 8 to 11 individual missions.   4. I have now given up hope that we will live to see the period before the summer of 1944 on the Eastern Front. But I'm still somehow optimistic about the CMFB module, that it will suddenly be there, just like CMFI was back then. Two outstanding designers have been suspiciously quiet about their projects for some time. May be they are working on the module, or it's just my naive hope And thanks for the kind words @Vacillator and @PEB14 Regards Mr.X
  5. Short update: 4 of 5 campaigns are running their final test this means, 44 single missions are almost ready for the release. But there will be a small delay until the last campaign "Our Father" is finished, because I have enlarged this campaign More news to come... Regards Mr.X
  6. Within the next 10 days, I will finish the fifth and final campaign of the BattlePack. During the campaign "Our Father", the player will command various units of the German 39th PanzerCorps, encircled in the so-called "Fortress Mogilev". In the period from 27th June to 4th July 1944 there are 7 to 9 missions, depending on the decisions, the player will make.   9. I remember, when I have made my first scenario for CMBB in 2004 or 2005. I was confident, it would be a great success and made it available for download. The first statement of a player wiped out my hopes it was total crap.

  12. Sorry for the missing sources There are several Russian sources that someone translated in German. I took the trouble few years ago because books like the history of the 5th Panzer don‘t mention anything about the Soviet OOB. Regards Mr.X

Hi PEB14, first of all - you are commiting blasphemy - you have forgotten to mention @George MC seriously, he is probably the most experienced and best designer of them all Personally, I´m afraid that I can hardly help you with your de facto scientific question. When I had made "Zawiya Uprising" for CMSF, I symply set all parameters in the script to very good or high - and there were never any problems...I think, the difficulty starts if you try to represent situations with low supply/refit possibilities... For my pack of campaigns, I deliberately chose not to use these settings and instead chose simple linear campaign progressions. The reason is that I personally don´t like it when I ruin the whole campaign with one bad mission I play. And I almost never play any mission twice. So, I´m sorry for this weak answer - I simply have no idea about the details of this system Best regards Mr.X
  15. Tonight, I have finished the „Partisans Land“ Campaign With the final version, it consists of 7 single missions. The Player will command Axis security units, SS-Pioneers, Grenadiers of an special Assault-Battalion and soviet volunteers of the RONA-Brigade… I hope, there will be one more volunteer for the final testrun of this campaign Up to now, 4 of the 5 campaigns of the BattlePack are running as a Betaversion The 5th campaign will hopefuly follow within the next two weeks. Special thanks to all the great testers, who are fighting their way through the desperate summer of 1944 at the moment Without your help, this huge project wouldn‘t have been possible! Regards Mr.X

  19. The final version of this Battle Pack will consist of the following stuff: 1. Campaign "Partizans Land": 6 missions in a period from May 31st to June 6th 1944 Player will command Axis Anti-Partizan Forces in a small operation along the railway line Orscha - Lepel. 2. Campaign "Into Hell": 8 missions in a period from June 8th to June 23rd 1944 Player will command units of German 252nd Infantry Division during the defensive actions north of Witebsk 3. Campaign "Our Father": 7 missions in a period from June 27th to June 29th 1944 Player will command mixed remaining units of German 12th, 31st Infantry Division and Panzergrenadier-Division "Feldhernnhalle" during the encirclement of Mogilev. 4. Campaign "Five Bridges": 12 missions in a period from June 26th to July 2nd 1944 Player will command units of German 383rd Infantry Division and 20th Panzer Division during the desperate pocket battles around the city of Bobruisk. 5. Campaign "Tiger Trail": 17 missions in a period from July 17th to July 26th 1944 Player will command units of 3rd SS-Panzer Division "Totenkopf" during their counter offensive actions around the city of Grodno. 6. There will be included 16 Mastermaps In summary the Battle Pack will contain 50 single missions from tiny sized to huge. All the campaigns can be called as "semi-historical". The player will command units that are as historically accurate as possible. A large number of the maps are based on original/historical maps. Much time and effort have been invested to the detailed research of the historical battles. Some historical participants of the events are introduced with additional information. The whole Battle Pack is a fan made project of my own without any financial interest. I have created it just for my personal fun. And now important information for everyone interested: There will be no option to download this Battle Pack from any website. Because it is an exclusive product, I also chose a special way to order it: If you want to pre-order the Battle Pack (or order it after the release), you have to pm me here in the forum. Give me your e-mail adress and forum-name and I will register you. As soon as the Battle Pack is released, I will send it to you. In this way I will keep an overview of how many people will actually order the Battle pack - regarding this, I currently have no idea/expectations of numbers. Estimated date of release is February 1st in the 80th anniversary year of Operation Bagration. Pre-orders are open now !!! Regards Mr.X
