  1. Actually, with the German equipment from July 1943, one should be able to depict at least the last months of the war in North Africa in CMFI without any problems. Even the maps shouldn't be a problem.
  2. Due to the core theme of F&R Hungary is underrepresented, although it is an extremely interesting theater. Hungary is one of my favorite thoughts when it comes to a new BP
  3. It´s Libyan Civil War. Red vs Red. Playing the "evil side" and fighting for the Gaddafi Regime Surprisingly, most critics were good, but I have never reworked the campaign for SF II standards....
  4. @Jarosak: When I look at screenshots of CMCW, I always notice the blue sky. I work very often in the region called the "Fulda Gap" and I always wonder what it would look like after multiple nuclear strikes. I think it would be a very dark atmosphere. So actually interesting But in the end I'm too fascinated by WWII - so, no CMColdWar Did you play my former campaign "Zawiya Uprising" ? This was my only foray into modern war so far... Regards Mr.X
  5. @Bearstronaut: I am excited to see the CMFI BattlePack Unfortunately, I really have not enough sources for this theatre @Sunbather: Scheldt sounds very interesting...there is an osprey book about this topic... Regards Mr.X
  6. While I'm hanging around here on the forum, I have an idea: Now that the big CMRT project will be finished soon, I feel an inner energy within me to look forward for something new Of course, no promises - because I don't know for sure whether I'll have the luxury of combining work and hobby so comfortably again this year. But if I start something new, it will probably be another BattlePack of 3-5 campaigns from Axis point of view. No Normandy and no Italian Theatre (there are many people who have a thousand times better background knowledge about these battles). But the Eastern Front from June 44 to May 45 and the Western Front from September/October 44 to May 45 are available to choose from (hoping for the release of a new CMFB module in 2024 ): Therefore, suggestions can be made on this topic. Eastern front or Western Front? Berlin or Budapest? Rhine Front or, for example, the fighting for Northern Germany? Or something completely different? There are thousands of interesting regions and battles. Everyone can make suggestions and contribute ideas here. Regards Mr.X
  7. @Vacillator: Not at home. I only allow myself the hour around midnight to relax Work on the BP will continue on January 11th
  8. May be, my English is too poor and I misunderstand you @slippy, but the CMRT-BattlePack will cost nothing other than registration to have it sent on the release date (there is no download option planned on any webpage) . It is a fan project without any financial interests !!! Regards Mr.X
  9. Short update: I'm deregistering until January 11th. If you would like to place pre-orders or write messages, please do so. I will reply promptly from January 11th Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everybody Regards Mr.X
  10. @PEB14: Of course, you are right I actually just wanted to say that Sturm-Battalions didn‘t have their own armored vehicles… Regards Mr.X
  11. @thilio: It‘s the Sturm-Bataillon AOK 7 (Assault-Battalion AOK7). Every German Army had an own motorized Infantry-Batallion, so did the 7th German Army. These battalions usually consisted of combat experienced soldiers and were used as a kind of reserve units for critical situations. They had no own armored sub units. During these battles, Stugs and captured French tanks of Pz.Jg.Abteilung 709 and Pz.Aus.u.Ers.Abteilung 100 were attached/subordinated to the Sturm-Battalion AOK 7. Regards Mr.X
  12. And here's a little update for anyone who doesn't want to read the entire thread: And another overview of the strategic situation and the localization of the individual campaigns:
  13. @Phantom Captain and @Vacillator: Thank you very much for your kind words and your valuable support as a tester Fortunately, so many pre-orders have been received that my mailbox here in the forum has reached its storage capacity. At this point many thanks to the many people who are interested . That's why I decided to invest some time in completing the BattlePack, at least in the evening, despite my current professional commitments. I actually wanted to let the final tests run and only get into the home stretch from January 11th. This means that nothing should stand in the way of the release on February 1st . Regards Mr.X
  14. @NamEndedAllen: you are registered please send me your mail-adress for completing the registration Best regards Mr.X
  15. @Vacillator: it‘s still too early for that but I have a rough idea … and 7-10 finished maps of the region south of Berlin… But now the current schedule must be adhered to until February 1st I am a little worried that I won‘t find enough testers for the fifth finished campaign. The power of my current testers is not infinite
  16. Thank you @Aragorn2002 …and the best is: I am not burned out If I wasn‘t currently forced to take a break for a few weeks at work, I would like to start the next project My children already think I am a PC-game designer
  17. The increasing number of pre-orders is very encouraging , but I still need at least one more volunteer to test the campaign "Our Father" Volunteers to the front !!!
  18. @cbennett88, @Aragorn2002, @SuchyYour request is my command you all are registered but please send me a pm with your E-mail. Then you will get the BattlePack immediately when there is "Release-Day" Thank you for your interest!!! Best regards Mr.X
  19. Just don't stress yourself out. I'm very happy about everyone who invests some time to help with this really big project Thank you !!!
  20. @massi9797Dz: You pay nothing But you will not find a download option. Personal order only
