  1. I find the game to be a blast, but that said, this seems like the place to state what we would like to see. Targeting lines are not one of them. I add my voice to the long list of those requesting an armored covered arc. A few other things I would like to see are: - a return of the command delay - some sort of indicator of what type of terrain is what - do different buildings have different defensive value? If so, some sort of indicator of which is which. - small gaps in hedgerows are too hard to see. - a way to see what path a unit will actually take once the path is selected by the player would be useful.
  2. That, is poetry. Brings a tear to the eye. Though it might just be the local fumes.
  3. Ah. Glad to see you still alive and wellKurtzachai. After all we do have you to thank and curse for the MBT, and many glorious CM battles. For those still here, and for those long departed who remain only in memory (digital or the more fleshy sort). Much like the after effects of a long night of beer and nachos, your lingering presence is vaguely disgusting, and yet somehow comforting in its ...em ... regularity. So a heart-felt thanks to you, the Bard Eternal of the Cesspool. Though you know I am still sworn to kill you eventually.
  4. So says the Challenged Auxilliary Junior Backup Deputy Official Wilderness Explorer Just-a-car of the Peng Thread Basically Jo Xia's little lap dog. Does he keep you in his purse?
  5. Joe, since he is apparently a stray that Rune picked up in his dotage, I feel somewhat responsible. Since I was Elevated to Kaniggethood even when Rune's status as Kanigget was in serious dispute, for all practical purposes, I am the First Kanigget of the House of Ruin. Icky as it may be, I believe that I have some obligation to the House of Ruin, if not to his Weaselness himself and will thus abuse Buzzy in a PBEM to test his [lack of] tactical acumen. If he is up to snuff (doubtful), squirehood is in order. So Buzzy, if you can rub a few sodden brain cells together, and figure out how, send a set-up. Somefink interesting, but not too large. I'll not go straining myself on some epic battalion slugfest for a (probable) piss-bucket serf.
  6. Did Rune really claim you at some point? As if NoGo cavscout wasn't bad enough. I was wondering why there was a lingering odor of rotton herring in the great hall. From your boots no doubt. I should beat you with your own arm for even existing and polluting my house.
  7. And some people would prefer the former, obviously, hence this thread. I certainly would like a little more detail on a number of items that were in CM1. Not essential, but I would like them more than a few flashy, but hardly essential units.
  8. Yah, yah, "you never write. You never call. Don't you love me any more?" I was saving all my electrons for CMBN.
  9. And if there is one thing Joe knows about, that is olde. He even spells it like back in his school days.
  10. We all float down here. Don't they teach you youngsters anything these days? Jo Xia, fix or do somefink.
  11. I've taken a look. It is not very useful for CMBN. Too much SF specific info. Very hard to find the BN useful wheat amongst the chaff.
  12. Good googlie mooglie. I just noticed that No-Go 19D is a Kanigget. House Ruin no less. How that once mighty House has fallen. Knights not studying history of the MBT and all.
  13. Marlow DID forget his old log in. I must be getting old.
  14. Why would I want to play a game against a nuclear attack sub? I didn't think the Navy was involved in this game other than for fire support. You must be confused. Not uncommon for (I presume) a 19D. Probably get lost a lot as well.
  15. Hello gentlemen, So, I have recently purchased CMBN, and would like to try PBEM. This looked like a nice friendly place to find an opponent. Smells a bit though. Cheers.
  16. Get one that gives cash back (you can get 1% pretty easy these days), and as said, always pay full balance every month. If you use them wisely, credit cards are great.
