  1. Thx guys for your input. And special thanks for Ian for creating such a detailed big battle setup guide. The only glitch is that you have to go through such a cumbersome setup procedure every time you want to play a >7200 points battle..
  2. Maybe that's a silly issue but I can't find a way to setup a QB by points - the way it used to be done in CM1. Precisely I have a huge 2kmx2km map and want to play a 15k points PBEM QB. But in the setup phase there is no points option, just tiny, small medium ... huge. When I choose huge I obtain a 7200 points battle which is an unsufficient budget for such a big map. So what should I do to setup a 15K points battle? Thx in advance for your help.

  5. So what's the minimal distance from the existing gap, where you can blow up bocage in order to create sufficient space for vehicles to pass? How many action spots?
  6. Is there any use for HIDE plus small Cover arc for setting up ambushes? Is it superior or inferior to just a small cover arc? I have noticed that even while hidden, some members of the team spot from time to time so they can react to the enemy entering the cover arc at the same time profiting from the better concealement due to HIDE command..What do you guys think?

  8. Could you guys suggest a bigger scale scenrio for H2H PBEM battle.. Ideally a big map with hills and a road system where manouver is important, reinforcements entering from different directions, and establishing control of key points (crossroads, bridges) for transport of troops becomes vital. There is some H2H scenarios in the repository but from the description you usually can not get information about the issues mentioned above. Therefore maybe someone who had played such scenario via PBEM already could share some impressions..Thx in advance.

  10. So what do BFC sets its priorities on? For me forum is not a popularity contest, it just gives you the idea what the needs and expectations of gamers are.. And I think games are made for gamers.. So in my opinion requests posted here should be taken into consideration.. Particularly this wego issue. I am not a professional programmer so I may be wrong, but I think that this feature is really, really tiny im comparison with huge developing efforts made over years (game mechanics improvements, graphical issues..). So the argument that thay had no time because they were busy with something else can not persuade me..
  11. Yes, yes, I know.. For me this statement just makes Battlefront's stiff attitude to gamer's requests more understandable.. How dare they criticize such a perfect product.. Battlefront did not implement wego in order to satisfy a relatively (as we now see) large group of players, however after several posts in this thread they admit that it might be added later because it is "desirable and probably practical".
