  1. I'm not buying new players don't have tools to make them successful. Some of you are very well aware I'm new around here and to the game. That includes the learning pains of the interface as well. I remember after demo came out, i came across a AAVR by a beta tester and saying damn when I can move the screen around like that, i'm going to really enjoy the game. Guess what. I'm really enjoying the game! Like it was mentioned you don't have to be smart to play this game. Anyone that knows about wargaming, knows bfc guys know their sht. And if it's in the war it's going to be in the game unless it breaks the game/simulation. what you do need to have to play this game is a Ol' fashion set! And some intestinal fortitude. So dumbing the game down for people that wont put forth the effort to learn the game is not the course of action BFC will take. And it boils down to IMHO to the following
  2. Yup face bnd or the delete key fixed Los issues in buildings for me. Sometimes they be faced on an angle or the wrong way or still acting on old orders
  3. The need for instant gratification strikes again. So sad So sad . Heart of the swarm is hitting store shelves soon. Siege tanks!
  4. most scenarios that ship with the game come with so many reinforcements, you really have to be a dolt tactically to piss away that many men. It's like have a "free man" left, after you get em killed. They should just rank missions to give people a heads up what they are in store for. After jumping around from scenario to scenario i said let me go in Alphabetical order. big mistake, i walked into a buzz-saw called a delaying action. If I was to noob war gaming that would have been the end for me lol.
  5. I actually find CMBN on the easy side once you get tactics down. The bocage works both ways. I stay ambushing the CPU. Wish it was easier to play multiplayer. Tougher user created maps are now trickling in.NICE!
  6. toshay They are hardly the only, give you a few. I have a couple of other turned based on my HD right now. TB is still in effect for CM, they just added something extra. People can change their minds and be flexible. Sht.. the way I thought ten years ago, is a little different than i do now.
  7. I smile every time i see the term "click fest" thrown around. It's all relative. I play and appreciate a broad spectrum of RTS games. And this game moves way to SLOW to be a click fest. Your mind can still beat a person who has high clicks per minute. You just have to be able to adapt on the fly. Wego style IMO is more of a movie style of playing. You can appreciate the little things more playing that mode.
  8. oh i was talking about endurance. I found out early on the speed between the two seemed to be about the same. so it was a win win. it seems like only a behavior modification.
  9. logged a lot of "real world" in game action, it makes a difference, they definitely last longer.
  10. move- when im playing a big map and a group of men away from the action, that isn't needed right now, but a little later. No need to tire them out before the fighting starts for them. quick- what i use most of the time. not as fast as fast but men can go longer at that speed. Fast- only use when i don't want my men to stop shoot back, when crossing a street or a gap in a bocage. I learned the hard way once when my men stopped to fire back and got slaughtered when passing a gap in a bocage. Dunno how bfc works it, but the energy level really makes a difference with the squads effectiveness. I find my self rotating squads on the front lines. Give them a little break to get their head right.

  12. haven't played this yet, but sounds like a job for "smoke".
  13. Being able to drag/arch WP lines for better flow with vehicles would be up there. The backspace key helps with moving WP. It works.
  14. listened to what i have and what you have hear. definitely will download
  15. I have a question along the same lines. I was playing hazzar and a punk tank team bails and keeps running(their war is over) ,so said tank is labeled dismounted. Another tank crew who was kicking ass tank gets destroyed(all 4 survive). I tried to put said tank crew in the dismounted tank. It was a no go. Still got the save, checked before i posted. i understand about the AT gun situation. whats the deal?
  16. some sound like zombies the higher numbered ones
  17. its a read along tutorial the download came with a PDF file.
  18. yeah, there's no room for many errors. Others give you "wiggle room" in different forms.
  19. Thanks! if that's in the manual i must have missed it.
  20. Nope. just a draw. Enemy had too many tanks in the bush. I did get em all. And i had 3 left. so it would have been a matter of time, going on the AAR. was minutes from taking the overwatch position in the middle. the right side was a nightmare. Definitely return later.
  21. the cancel button when placing way points just cancels the last WP placed, and clears all WPs if clicked twice. I use intricate WP depending on surface type etc. kind of annoying to have to start over because of a miss-click.
