  1. Just want to make sure I have this straight, as I'm considering purchasing the CW and MG modules, and my most frequent opponent doesn't have either module. If I install CW and MG, then reapply the 2.12 patch, will I still be able to play against my opponent, who only has the base game? Thanks, Papa
  2. Clearly, the Universe sees your future, Padawan. You WILL become Seanachai. Papa
  3. +1. That writeup is really what sold me on trying out the game. Papa
  4. I'm sure there are lots of ways additional "at a glance" information could be added to the UI to inform players of the status of units on the map. I for one would really like to see something added to the floating icons to indicate: 1) In/Out of command. I don't need to know what type of command they are currently in. I just want to be able to tell when they are out of command without having to click on each individual unit. 2) Morale/Suppression status. Again, it doesn't need to be as detailed as the information presented when I click on a unit. I just want to be able to see, at a glance, who is in trouble. I'm encouraged to learn that "Something else better? That's our target." is your target. I'm curious to know if that's something that will be worked on in a patch, or is that a backburner item that will be addressed when you guys do the next engine (I really hope it's not that far off). Papa
  5. Well who else would it be? Pillock. Papa (Yeah yeah, so my old account got "misplaced". If they wanted to keep nice things, then they wouldn't have trusted me to look after them, now would they?)
  6. Stuka has two houses? So... he'll be putting one on the market then? Papa
  7. I miss moveable waypoints from CM1. Actually, I miss several things from the CM1 interface. Which is saying something, since I never really thought the CM1 interface was very strong. Papa
  8. Where exactly are the wastelands, anyway? I've always suspected Australia to be the wastelands, myself. Papa
  9. Since Joe has chosen a musical theme, clearly, this calls for a jolly sing song. Where the devil is the Garden Gnome when he might actually be useful (for a change) ... Radley is writhing face down in a pit Bright steel bayonets are clenched in my mitts Pond Scum all trussed up with thick ropes and strings These are a few of my favorite things When the Boo bites When that Joe stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad Cess Pooling Aussies and dear Michael Emrys I drygulch them all with a sock full of pennies Watch Joe Shaw fly off a cliff with no wings These are a few of my favorite things When the Boo bites When that Joe stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad Men in white coats take MrSpkr away Oh my goodness what a beautiful day The demise of you all such happiness would bring These are a few of my favorite things When the Boo bites When that Joe stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad Papa
  10. Ok, so I occassionally pluck the low hanging fruit. If it's going to go and droop on it's branch and be sitting right in front of my face, I say it has asked to be plucked. And now, sir Boo-Hoo, on to matters at hand. I feel that I am forced, yes literally forced by your having called the derivation of my Knighthood into question, to inquire of the following. 1) Have you to date purchased younger, stronger hamsters to power that archaic collection of rubber bands, spittle, and flywheels you call your "computer"? 2) Are you still hiding behind the excuse that you cannot accept worthy challenges from Knights of the Cesspool, due to the inefficiencies and shortcomings of your existing rodent workforce? A likely story, Boo, but I think we all know your true motivation. FEAR! Papa
  11. Joe's always struck me as the "peccable" type. Come to think of it, so has Boo. Papa
  12. Nice picture of a Radley family gathering, Boo. Tell me, does the rest of the Radley clan still allow you to show up at those shindigs, or did you take that photo from the concealment of a nearby bush? Papa
  13. MrSpkr... Pale, trembling and drenched in sweat? So, business as usual then? Papa
  14. But I'd grown so attached to the old thread, Joe. I really like old things. Like you, Joe. Papa
