That fixed my issue. Thanks!

When I use your new tracer mod, the move lines are faded to the point you can barely see them. Any idea why this is so? A conflict with another mod perhaps? I removed your previous tracer mod before using the new one.

[RELEASED] Juju's Red Thunder UI + much more!
Scratchy replied to Juju's topic in CM Red Thunder Maps and Mods
Excellent stuff. I'm enjoying it very much. -
Wonderful work. Thanks.

I removed (copied somewhere else) the Z folder before updating. Good boy, ain't I? Anyway, created the Z folder again and replaced the mods I was using one by one--they seem to be working fine. That's my experience fwiw.

Coming soon... Forcing the La Fiere Causeway
Scratchy replied to ChrisND's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
Very nice. Looks super. Can't wait to try it out. -
There's 1st impression threads and tech problems/support threads. How about a things you've seen thread? I was leap-frogging through the hedges when, during the replay, I noticed a knot of enemy troops suddenly appeared; lying dead and wounded. I rewound the replay and started the replay again focused on that spot. A German pixeltruppen was in the process of tossing a potato masher over the hedgerow when he was hit by gunfire. The potato masher fell from his hand and landed among him and his buddies. The explosion messed up the whole squad. I downloaded Fraps right after that. I've got to get this stuff on 'film'.

First Impressions (CM:BN Full Release)
Scratchy replied to Manx's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
The environments look better than they did in the demo--at least I think they do. All the weather types are a prodigious accomplishment. I had a great sense of appreciation when I realized I'll be playing this game for years to come. It's very rare where that happens--for me at least. I play all sorts of games and have been doing so for many years. I can count on one hand's worth of fingers the number of games that fall into the permanent collection category. I know we can't name other game names, but I bet you all have a few like that too. Way to go, BF! Now, back to the war... -

Way to go, King Midas' barbers. -
Yeah. I made it to the end of the incredible growing thread!

Will there be an email from BF presaging the arrival? Am I confused? Wait. Don't answer that. I recall, I think, that after placing my order, an email from BF said I would get an email when the game is available for download.

Fundamental flaw in onboard mortar targeting
Scratchy replied to Kelly's Heros's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
In my 4 play-through's of RtB as Allies, my mortars are what I'd expect. However, the German side's mortars are sometimes wacky. The last play-through they fired-for-effect on top of their own troops. The spotter was most likely very much suppressed and that might be why. The 1st time I played this scenario, I lolly-gagged around and got hammered by the German mortars. So, I tend to think it has to do with LOS and suppression...i guess. FWiW -
Crossing streams - Bug or Feature?
Scratchy replied to fatherof6's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
I had one of my squads splashing around in the stream by the farm. There were sounds to go along with it (*splish-splash*). I didn't purposely send them there. They ended up there after beating a hasty retreat. With sounds to go along with it, I would guess it's a feature, but I know not-hing. I think I'll try that battle again and check it out. -
It's wonderful. It runs great at max-max. It looks fantastic. I'll put my specs at the bottom. I've been playing CMSF the last few weeks and have enjoyed my time with it. But there's something about the setting and armies of the 1940's that's--for lack of a better word--charming. I was sucked-in as soon as the map displayed. I love the detail, animations, sounds...all of it. The mortar teams, the c-rations and ammo boxes tied to the tanks; it's all just super. Great job you guys. i7 920 @ 3.3Ghz 6Gb 1600 ram Asus Motherboard GTX460SC 1920x1200 desktop res. I don't know what my fps was. It wasn't a problem, whatever it was.

I promise to be respectful, humble and not act as a spoiled child. Really. Faults? Who cares! I'm sure it will be awesome in whatever state it's in. A massive line of thunderstorms nearing my humble home. Maybe after they pass and I've fired-up the computer again---demo time! -

And...what is it? Not to be pedantic, but I didn't see good or bad news in your post. Just wondering.
