Vacillator, you certain you don't have a helmet mod? There are no textures of any sort in the original brz's for snow--ground, vehicles, uniforms, or helmets. There are several mods for snow on those items, though.

I agree 100% with danfrodo. Video, or it didn't happen. -
CM Final Blitzkrieg v2.03 patch has been released

Poppa uum mow mow, poppa uum mow mow, you seem to be correct, Boid. I can't find them either, no matter the date chosen. -
This would be an even more interesting thread if I knew what SBF stood for. Single Black Female? Small Block Ford? Stupid But Funny? Singapore Bowling Federation? I assume it means Support Base of Fire or some such, but you know what happens when a person assumes.....

Help: how shoot with mortars?
mjkerner replied to Aquilas-ESP's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 2
Have you tried "Open Up" first? I haven't ever used mech mortars, but some other mechanized weapon systems require that order before they can fire. -

Lol, that's my normal strategy! -
Hey 37mm, what German voice sound mod are you using? The part where the German is uproariously laughing (or maybe hysterically?) was great! And a great video.

CM Fortress Italy v2.11 patch has been released

Thanks AKD! -
I know, I know, wrong Elvis. But still, it is my humble yet (I'm sure you'll agree) expert opinion that you are the perfect voice of, and face for, BFC. Seriously! You have great communication skills dealing this somewhat, at times, hinky crowd. Just a shout out appropo of nothing, except maybe this alcoholic beverage I'm holding.

CM Fortress Italy v2.11 patch has been released
mjkerner replied to BFCElvis's topic in Combat Mission Fortress Italy
From the readme: * French soldiers now have a chance to carry the M1892 revolver or M1935A pistol instead of the M1911 So it appears that upon release the pistol never showed up at random as they should have. That's been fixed, but if you just look at the soldier's weapon in the UI or from a distance in game, I guess you could miss that it's texture was not completed. @Elvis, could you note this as a bug for whomever, please? -
CM Fortress Italy v2.11 patch has been released
mjkerner replied to BFCElvis's topic in Combat Mission Fortress Italy
It apparently was that way in the 210 version (R2V release) and just overlooked by everyone. I had originally checked the games' "active " brz (the one in the program files x86 folder). But I just checked my copied-and-exploded R2V brzs made at the time I installed it, and that texture is also unfinished. So it was unfinished from the git go. -
CM Fortress Italy v2.11 patch has been released
mjkerner replied to BFCElvis's topic in Combat Mission Fortress Italy
Yup, I checked, but it looks like it may have been some sort of unintended consequence. There is no new texture or other changes in the 211 patch for the model 1892 pistole. But looking back in the v. 210 brzs, the m1892 texture is simply the "map" your screenie shows. So either something in the new 211 tripped back and changed the texture in 210, or it was always that way since 210 and no one caught it. -

I haven’t been able to tell, Aragorn, because Bootie is the “author” for CMMODS IV purposes, as far as I can tell. I don’t have author status. I’m not sure, but I don’t think any—or many, at least—of the modders do yet. I assume it is because of the massive transfer of all the mods from CMMODS III and other databases is still ongoing. You'll be happy to know I started on the British-based goumier mod, though. -
Been doing that for a while as well. All CMx2 games, modules and packs, including CMA, with brzs exploded and all scenarios, maps and mods, etc. I just checked and my external drive is at 579 GB!

OKay, got it. Thanks!

I was re-reading the other thread you mentioned above just last weekend and was going to try it myself. But, to be clear, you can see the tall hedge/bocage in the transferred map in-game in CMFB and that the map works fine (but you can't edit the hedge's orientation in the editor)? I'd just be happy if most maps (some buildings aside) can just be swapped around!
