  1. its only 30 seconds , but they sit there for another 30 seconds doing nothing , they have a prime target at 131m, they are under command and tired, any thoughts on why they wont fire the PZ?

  4. Its extremeley discouraging as a 20 year fan/customer not to get "year ahead bone post", I dont care that none of their plans did not pan out for 2020, most times they have and I would love to know their direction for 2021 and future projects , it keeps me invested and enthused.

  6. Do tanks have a blocking/protection effect for infantry on HE blasts from arty or other weapons? like they do for mg fire?
  7. not necessarily, if the tank is moving at slow speed the sound contact wont pick up as easily and if stopped with hide on it simulates a very low noise profile. tank not moving with hide on = lowest sound profile, very hard to detect tank moving fast = highest sound profile, easily detectected
  8. When you see a generic tank sound contact moving behind a hedgerow with no los to that tank . Units are close enough to hear it but not see it.

  10. well one wouldn't hear an empty bunker , so a contact marker for an empty bunker would be caused by spotting it previously or intel strength decided by the scenario designer
  11. I can quote the manual as well, which I have read , pg 43 under Floating Icons "as well as pure sound contacts"
  12. no they are sound contacts not tentative contacts, big difference
  13. Vehicle Sound Contacts. While i do believe they belong in the game and have a useful purpose, I feel they give up far to much information on the make up of the Vehicle and the direction they are going.They need to be more random and much less revealing about direction. Sound Contacts in General. When battle is going on around you , which i can only imagine to be extremley loud , how much could you really hear? or have the focus to recognize that sound or the direction of that sound.Sound plays tricks on me in my own house,lol. So sound is relative to how quiet you are being , just a platoon in a standard moving motion would create alot of residual sound around them to not hear much , let alone next to tanks or in the tank itself you would not be able to hear anything. I know this is all very complicated with engine and coding.

  17. Has BF ever thought about a Map Pack with several master maps and other large maps of regions, of course in great detail?I would gladly pay 15-20$ for something like that.

  19. Total guess on my part about what's causing that bug, we know there are restrictions to tanks on bridges do to types of bridges, maybe the engine gets confused about what kind of bridge it is and makes a decision saying "nope can't move, I'm not the right type of bridge".
