  1. its a must for a realistic war setting, it was important to have random spreading fire in CMBO, important and accurate

  3. yes bunkers are knocked out to easily, I feel all defensive works don't give enough protection and need to be tweaked in favor of the defender, that goes for trenches, foxholes, and sandbags
  4. i guess the real issue here is why isn't the "flame wasp " in the CMBN?, when it was so prevalent in CMBO?

  6. I was looking at an old scenario from CMBO called 49 Recce, its in August 44 and the wasp is available to the brits, yet it is not in CMBN?should it be?
  7. so with a mixed mine or anti-vehicle in the middle of a road on an impassable forrest, there is no option , you must run over it and take your chances
  8. I ran a test using "mixed mines" where the engineers use the "mark mines" command and after a few turns the sign changes and you can safely pass your men slowly over the marker, how ever i tried to move a tank over it slowly and it blew up, how do you get vehicles to safely pass?
  9. its only 30 seconds , but they sit there for another 30 seconds doing nothing , they have a prime target at 131m, they are under command and tired, any thoughts on why they wont fire the PZ?

  12. Its extremeley discouraging as a 20 year fan/customer not to get "year ahead bone post", I dont care that none of their plans did not pan out for 2020, most times they have and I would love to know their direction for 2021 and future projects , it keeps me invested and enthused.

  14. Do tanks have a blocking/protection effect for infantry on HE blasts from arty or other weapons? like they do for mg fire?
  15. not necessarily, if the tank is moving at slow speed the sound contact wont pick up as easily and if stopped with hide on it simulates a very low noise profile. tank not moving with hide on = lowest sound profile, very hard to detect tank moving fast = highest sound profile, easily detectected
  16. When you see a generic tank sound contact moving behind a hedgerow with no los to that tank . Units are close enough to hear it but not see it.
  17. you just dont get it , im referring to the mechanics of sound contact only , nothing else not talking about any other type of contact of which there are several
  18. well one wouldn't hear an empty bunker , so a contact marker for an empty bunker would be caused by spotting it previously or intel strength decided by the scenario designer
