  1. I don't post too much on the forums but on this occasion I thought I'd second the requests for this great mob to be expanded. The thought of my Commonwealth Forces going to war without Juju's mod is almost too much to think about!
  2. Yip. That would be a great idea for a prepared defensive position. Probably not feasible for an attacking light infantry force. Generally you'd send someone to an ammo collection point which has been brought forward as far as possible by vehicle. The rest is man- handled to the forward positions. The idea of sending part or all of a section to fetch and carry ammo from a land rover/ truck like vehicle is probably more realistic. It would be good if that section could drop ammo off to the forward sections as you would expect under the platoon sergeant/ company sergeant major. That way you could keep your forward sections in the fight longer. As Paper Tiger suggested earlier, I guess in the context of this game sending part of the section back to get into a vehicle will have to do.
  3. Paper Tiger, thanks of the great idea. You're right, it should work for those units who can form AT/assault teams. I'll give it a go. It's not ideal but much better then what I thought. Mord, Thanks, I've been playing and reading the forums for a while now. I used to use Kiwi100 (not many posts though) but forgot my password and changed email address so it seemed to hard to figure out what to do so I just joined again.
  4. You're right about the weapons caching, it would be good. I would think the Syrian regular infantry forces would also have use for ammo resupply as well as UK/US.
  5. It was a full Uk infantry section. i tried to get it in but it would not fit. usually light infantry does not have access to heavy vehicles. Landrovers/light trucks are usually it at best. In this senario there was only one landrover. The rest were all dismounted. While the landrover was not part of the section and they would not fit in it, it would have be very useful to be able to access the ammo in the Landrover. In reality you'd just send two guys into the back and get it! It would be good if the simulation allowed a section next to a vehicle to have the "access" button available which would allow it to access the ammo in the vehicle no matter what it's size.
  6. I have to agree with this point. Ammo resupply for light infantry especially is a real problem (unless i've missed something already in the game). It would be useful if they could access a landrover or similar vehicle to get supplies. I had a fight yesterday where my light infantry could not access a landrover full of 5.56mm ammo because it belonged to the attached sniper pairs?!?! Resupply of troops in contact is an important part of any fight especially for the light infantry who don't have access to armoured vehicles. It would be very useful to simulate this aspect. Still love the game though.
