  1. The problem for me is that when I choose inf, I get 6 tank slots and 3 inf slots. When I choose Tank, I get 5 inf, 4 arty and 2 tanks
  2. After Having just finished as the german side and while I loved the maps, I was quite disapointed that most of the missions were basically the same. Assault trench 1 move onto trench two. Repel tank counter attack. finish The mini mission with just a handful of inf was great. Its a pity that there wasn't more variation like this. Does your final score actually effect anything in the following missions?
  3. I'm having trouble trouble with the misson generator. It doesn't matter which type of battalion I choose (tank, inf, motorised) etc, A different battalion appears, Arty instead of tank, tank instead of inf. etc. It appears to be stuck on random.
  4. When trying to target with more than 1 unit, the cursor always says that the unit can fire, even if neither can. Very difficult trying to get your mortars to fire on a target. You click and think they have moved their fire to your new selection, but they just keep on pummeling their old targets.
  5. I think it is because you only have a limit amount of support to call apon.

I've upped the game settings to make things harder for me, but the main effect that this has for me is that my men now won't fire at the target I select for them. my tiger would rather shoot at a singular soldier in a nearby trench instead of the 3 su22 coming down the road. How do I get my men back under control again?
  7. Most of the bugs above relate to the latest patch. The patched fixed alot of things with the inf. AI and these are a few left or recently discovered. The developers seem to be on the case regarding bugs that this forum find.

  9. One of the difficulties that I've had re: indirect fire is that if you choose say 2 hummels and try to fire indirect, the cursor showing is a yes for area firing, but if you choose each tank individually, the cursor has a cross thru it.
  10. my hummel's don't seem to have the same indirect fire capabilities on mission (*) (german), that is the same as the demo mission. They don't seem to be able to fire indirect at all. has something been changed in the patch?
  11. I can't seem to tow the 88mm german flak gun or the russian 37m 61K (even tho it has wheels) which guns can be towed by trucks?
  12. The game usually runs well for me (frame rate etc), but can occasionally crash randomly during a mission (which can suck if I haven't saved it recently). It appears to crash after I've click or pressed a button (ie moving the map and trying to rotate map and select a unit) at the same time. Not a complaint as such, more of a heads up. (I am running tow2 in XP on a macbook pro under bootcamp) p.s It would be great if the game autosaved after a mission objective had been cleared.
  13. I've ditched the mortars for howitzers for the same reason, but they are harder to protect from airattack. I have a field battery of 4 howitzers with a backup of AA and an inf platoon. I agree smoke is important, I haven't worked out to use it efficiently yet. I wish tanks could use their smoke grenades tho, I wouldn't loose so many tanks then. I'm starting to get the hang of infantry as well and am not loosing them all in the first 5 min anymore. I think people are loosing inf. all the time not because of bad AI, but because the little buggers require alot of micromanagement. (maybe that IS bad AI). Anyway it is do-able

  16. Does the graphic level for grass (Low, Normal and high) effect the scouting abilities of infantry, both in spotting and hiding?
  17. this mission is hard, did alright but then lost most of my tanks in the counter attack. tips: the smoke is Very important in this mission. use it to cover your initial charge up the flank. use infantry to man captured guns, and pummel the hell out of those hidden tanks. they are hard to find but not impossible. I've traded my morters in for inf guns. I now have 4 inf guns parked behind a hill to offer indirect fire support.

  20. I'm still can install the update. Where is the update button ingame? When I launch autoupdater It says I need to install a version of the .NET framework to launch to autoupdate. huh?? I'm very confused
  21. Some of my tanks have images of smokegrenade launchers on them pzV and tiger but they launch smoke button wont light up. Are they able to launch smoke grenades? am I missing something.:confused: Loving the game btw!!!!! Well Done!!!!!:D
