  1. It's been done before, let's do it again :D

    - The map will be random. Subject to research as to how well that would work.

    - All will be done PBEM

    - If a player drops out or becomes idle for more than a 7 days I will rematch the person if they so wish.

    - Matchups will be chosen by me using a random number generator.

    - it's a 1 match game, you either win or you loose :D

    - I will play too, as i'm using a RNG to determine who gets who.

    - Any skill level is welcome, I for example am totally skill less at EoS :P

    Players

    1. Deadmeat

  2. Sorry for the interrupt people.

I played a little EOS when the demo first came out. But lack of PBEM was a real limitation for me.

So now I see you talking/playing PBEM and my interest returns. I just went to the FAQ and it still said no PBEM.

So what is it PBEM or NO PBEM? Is it a true PBEM or a hybridized PBEM/TCP interface? Can ya'll post a breif on the GUI mechanics for PBEM?

    Thanks.

I was pretty much the same, i generally like to play pbem my strategy games.

If your still interested i could put you on the list for the next game, a 3-way maybe? or i could take you on another 1vs1 :D

Currently me and boris are duking it out, though neither of us have fired a shot quite yet :D

  3. For reference:

Mapsize is 800x800 (smallest possible due to 1v1)

    Large continents

    Normal density

Jan 1st 1900 start date, 30 day turns.

    Official 1900-2030 ruleset

    2 players

    Deadmeat1471 (Pirate flag)

    Boris (Nato flag)

    Game name: PBEMtestgame

  4. consider this my the pbem list(will edit this post when required):

    DEADMEATS PBEM GAME #1

    1: Boris Balaban

    2: Deadmeat

    3: ????

(Im sure people will play direct, but i want to both test and utilise the pbem system for this game osprey :))

  5. Agree with you here, fewer nukes is not necessarily bad, but i still hold that slbms are useful, even if its just for stealth I.E enemy player launches massive air strike at your town and wipes out nuclear stockpile youve lost, but if they do that and you have a boomer off their coast, you get a return strike :D

  6. You might want to build hundreds of nukes but with the production cost at 500 or something like that its nearly impossible in time frame of an average. It took me literally years of game time to build enough missiles to fill one Nuclearo Missile sub. I reduced the number of missiles they carry to 4 because 8 wasn't practical.

Good point, still a cheaper slbm would still merit ssbn's
