  1. Ok, The TOW1 generator is still only second to the Kursk generator;) . Thank's for all the help guys. I'll see you online in TOW2 soon...
  2. Glad to hear the game runs the same. It doesn't run completly smooth on the demo. But I have the graphics set high, and the computer is a slightly aged laptop. I'm sure with the graphics set lower it should work great. Thank's for the feedback:). This is a little different topic but I have another question. Does normal TOW2 have a built in generator or anything resembling it like Kursk 1943? Or is the generator closer to what TOW1 has? Thank's again.
  3. Hey guys, I'm looking at finally getting theater of war 2, but I have a question though. Does theater of war 2 full version run slower than the demo? The reason I ask this is because I have a mid range computer, but the demo runs quite smooth on it. However, I've heard that alot of people with higher end computers were having problems with low frame rates as well as lots of lag. So my concern is that I'll buy the full version, but it will end up not running well on my computer. So do I have to worry? Or does the Demo run the same as the full version? Thank guys:).
  4. Well I uninstalled my game and reinstalled. I downloaded the mod and I am very Impressed!!! But there seems to be a glitch. The new campaign in the extra campaigns menu doesn't work. Does anyone else know about this???
  5. Sorry to hear about TOW1 and Windows 7 giving you a hard time. The best OS for TOW1 I would think, would be the one it was designed towards, which would be Windows XP...Windows XP in my opinion was and is the best OS still out there;)...
  6. Ok, I'll se about the MshConverter:). @Knokke: you're an expirienced modeler for the game. What would be the maximum amount of tri's for a weapon in ToW, and what would be a recomended amount???

  8. Thank's:). Sorry I have not updated this in awhile. I've been extremely busy the last couple of weeks. I do have a question. Do I need 3DS max to export my model??? I ask because I use Softimage XSI, and I'll probably have to have someone else export for me.... I'll give you guys a picture of my skinned carbine probably this weekend(If i'm not busy:()...
  9. Don't weapons like grenades and AT weapons like the PIAT use trajectories? If not, does TOW2 support trajectories?

  11. Ok, I got it to work:). Thank's Dr.Jones:cool:. I found that the only way to save the picture in a different format is to make a blank texture in another program, then have IMF viewer save over the blank...

  13. Well, I got the SFS extractor to work:D. I also attempted to make the M1919 Here you go Tartari;) . It needs some polishing, but the model is done for the most part. I'm currently trying to get the IMF viewer to work so I can use stock TOW textures for my weapons....

  15. Well, everytime I extract the .rar to my mission editor folder, I get a ton of errors:(. Do I have to edit any files before I can extract to my mission editor folder???
  16. Thank's for the positive comments:D. Yeah, It could also be implimented in the staff squad for units like the medic:cool:. Yep, I was definently looking to make that after the carbine, seeing the game only comes with the .50 cal HMG for the US:rolleyes:. But I'm going to need help in some areas to get these ingame. Seing I have zero expirience in modding TOW. First off, could someone please give me a simplified way of getting SFS extractor to work:o . Thank's
  17. Well pending any replies, I decided to start on a new M1 carbine just in case the TOW2 version cant be imported into TOW1:cool:. Yeah, I know it needs to be reduced in detail, but that will not take much work:). Any guidelines on max amount of tri's???

  20. Even though TOW2 fixes these things, It would be cool if these things were modded for TOW1. There's lots of people who play TOW1 still(like myself) and would like to see your ideas used. But you would have to ask an expirienced modder if what you have suggested is possible:)...
  21. Would it be legal to import the M1 carbine or other weapons from TOW2 into TOW??? I don't own TOW2, that's why I'm asking... Thank's:)...
  22. Hmm, don't see where the problem would be...But then again I don't play too often for more than an hour;)...I guess my only advice would be to save often so you don't lose data:)....

  24. Man, this looks like it's going to be awsome! To bad I don't have TOW2:(... I have a question though, Are you guys going to reskin the US and German troops from TOW2, so they fit with the European theatre???
