  1. Fantastic screen-shots ! just curious, how many core StuG's do you have left in 2. Batterie ?
  2. Hopefully you can soon have a "cold one", just pre-ordered this battle pack.
  3. So 10 panthers was enough to win mission 7. Was afraid that the first 3 missions with 8 Kompanie would destoy to many tanks, but you did it very well. Cant wait for it to start .
  4. Thanks In RL Nicolussi-Leck had 7 panthers in Kovel to twart any red army attack on the town, hopefully you have a bit more tanks. About the mines in mission 6: i for one dont like missions with mines but i thought that the soviets would either blow up the bridge or place mines in front of it. Blowing up the bridge was not an option because then no AFV's could cross therefore mines.
  5. Awesome screenshots and congrats on your victory in mission 6, a tough nut to crack but you did it. Would be very interesting to know how many core AFV's you have in total in mission 7.
  6. This battle pack is a must for all CMRT fans and im going to buy it. Looking forward to the campaigns, im a "campaign man" myself but also very much looking forward to the master maps could be a ton of fun in those.
  7. TY for the reply, looking forward to that . When/if you start mission 7 at some point it would be very interesting to know how many core AFV's you have for that mission in total .
  8. All is quiet on the eastern front ? , i would love to see more screenshots, what mission are you on right now ?
  9. I really enjoy this, great screenshots as always. Cant wait to see what happens next, hope you can clear the mines somewhat fast
  10. I have not tested mounted/unmounted mortars so dont really know but it cant be that big of a difference. What I do know is that on map mortars are more accurate than off map mortars.
  11. Looking forward to the next mission. Thank you for all your screenshots and good luck in the missions to follow.
  12. Cant wait for it ! . Great job so far and thank you for all the great screenshoots, they look very nice.
  13. The StuG battalion was a veteran unit, saw action in the Crimea in 42/43 under Manstein. I think I gave one of the platoon commanders elite status, maybe Klapperstück ?
  14. Thank you to everybody for the comments and screenshots, much appreciated.
  15. It is in the Pripyat marshes. Looked at a lot of pictures from back then and the foliage seemed very "wild, "uncultivated" and based on the old polish maps I tried to create just that. Even today some areas around Kovel is pretty wild based on several "tours" with Google earth camera.
  16. Once again great screenshots. Hopefully the assault guns can support your infantry.
  17. Great screenshots, now take good care of your pixeltruppen .
  18. BTW yes Fire & Rubble is so goood and then some .
  19. Nice job, Phantom Captain and with 18 minutes to spare. Looking forward to the second mission, if you will be so kind to share some photos of the mission, please.
  20. His photo collection is quite impressive, now I have to start reading a book I bought a few years ago written by Nash/Spezzano again : "Unternehmen Ilse" a one day operation that was carried out on the 27 april 1944. The operation was to clear the rest of Kovel for red army units. Highly recommended reading but pretty expensive book.
  21. One of the things that impress me most about his work is his very impressive photo archive. I have seen tons of photos of combat on the german eastern front but Nash seems to find new material all the time.

Note ! first as a motorized then as a panzergrenadier and in the last period as a panzer division.
  23. Hi guys Found this video with Douglas Nash, one of my favorite historians on the great patriotic war: LF
  24. You are probably right. Would be nice though, for the immersion I mean and the USMC has done extensive training in Norway in winter conditions.
