  1. "However, I don't plan to have any missions in this campaign that have a battalion on board. I play test and play in RT and I just can't handle missions of these proportions." I am really hooked on RT now. 95% of my play is RT. A battalion of RT is more than overwhelming for me. A battalion of RT Blue on Blue in a CAMPAIGN... just light it up, sit back and watch the fireworks. As noted I am a casual player looking for entertainment so CMSF works for me at the < Company size in RT. Screen shots look great PT. Still 'In Harms Way' and getting about a draw I think. Lots of badness coming at me... but fun. Thanks.
  2. Africa Theatre mini-module combined into a single pack. Thanks Mikey D. Will check it out. CogNative
  3. Do you like your campaign shaken or stirred Mr. PT? Stumped again in Harms Way so... It will be 1.11 time before I get the new version of the Perdition mini campaign. Dimas looks like a few months of play form me. Thanks PT
  4. Thanks. I could see it in the battles folder but could not open it to play nor look at in in the editor. 1.11 will work. CogNative
  5. Ugh.. Imagine this... a sort order for dummies:) Files Order By : ID | File Title | Downloads | Submit Date | Submitter | Author Why if it had been a javelin it might have exploded in my arse as I missed it till just now. Sorrow Moon. You can provide folks the tolls to use but you can't make them open their eyes and click ... unless you work for the CIA or sumpin:D CogNative ... Yes a glass .. make that a bottle I got some fine Mods to play with tonight.
  6. Sweet M1 Tusk tease. "I actually need to find time to play this damn game." Thanks for painting more so far Gordon. Play and enjoy but did you say Strykers? Great! Thanks, CogNative ... the original draw a straight line challenged kinda guy
  7. All works fine using OS X and Safari. A sort option like CM MODS would be a nice feature especially as the repository gets stuffed with goodies. Thanks. CogNative
  8. Thanks Gordon. Very nicely done "add-on" as your originals were fine. CogNative
  9. Great PT. I will grab your new version of 'Perdition' at BF's Repository. Not to worry about hang on as my play time is in fits and spurts as time allows. Your CM creations are plenty to carry me through the holidays. BF's Repository and a new v1.1 patch is great. Thanks, CogNative
  10. 'Perdition' it is after I get past 'Harm's Way'. Good luck on The Road to Dimas. Helos are fun if they hit the bad guys. Thanks CogNative
  11. Maybe I should start with 'Perdition' and then on to 'Hasrabit' after I get past 'Harm's Way'. That is a big chunk of fun time for me. Having nice maps to blow stuff up on is a real treat. If Orchard Road is your best it must be a gem. Thanks PT, CogNative
  12. My request: please let us choose longer Mission times and overlook/tweak some of the units plz. The QB generator is scheduled to be improved. See thread: "QuickBattle tweaks" Blue guys get good stuff but even now the QuickBattles can be fun & interesting for casual players like myself. Some people in these forums are very serious players and knowledgeable about how the game should reflect reality. You may also want to check out the thread "Walls, Windows and other assorted MOUT problems". Please excuse my English as yours is better than mine (missinginreality nailed it) and i live here although my Great Grand Paw came from Belgium... so blame them:D CogNative
  13. Great looking PT. Brits v Syria campaign = fantastic! I tried your "In Harms Way" yesterday for a quick play and got thumped. If your campaigns are like this, it may take me till past the Brits Mod. to advance through them. Good Work PT CogNative
  14. I was speaking to a fellow today about how much fun the CMSF game is. He is a great marksman. I will send him this forum link. This should sell a few copies when this Brit Mod appears.
  15. Thanks to all the QBG artists. Did some searching this AM as well and answered some more questions. The QuickBattle tweaks in the future should help a lot. I will look through the maps and package them for easy map size ID. CogNative
  16. "It's not that big at just around 1.8km x 1.2 km." PT, I am now able to load and play "not that big" maps thanks to Plain Jane & 177.79 drivers with INF for the MacBook Pro! Looking forward to attempting your Campaigns. It may take me a while to get through them but that is fine. Keep up the great work. Thanks, CogNative
  17. Appreciate the feedback Meach. Don't sell the kids, let them make more maps! The QB maps were downloaded from CM MOD Database. As far as I can tell the only differences in these maps are the suffix large - med -small, etc. The maps look the same and are the same size. I ran through a bunch one afternoon in the editor and got the same results, same size maps with different size names on the files but no discernible difference. After the CMSF v1.10 standalone patch ("Plain Jane") the QB feature began to work on the MBP and with Marines Module QBs are even more fun! Nice change of pace getting some really wonky combinations at time. I will have to check but I do remember getting a few FOs for the AI w/o any incendiary materials at their disposal. I think that was mentioned on the to fix list. Mark's suggestion for QBG Vol 4 Special Large Maps is a great idea. "Description: 111 Large Maps. Each map allows the player to Choose ANY size force (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Huge) and still play on a large map. Use it either in addition to our standard QB maps or Save your original "Quick Battle Maps" and Re-name this file For All Large Maps All the time." What I was hoping to do is be able to organize all the QB maps in a similar fashion for tiny, small, etc. folders or a naming convention of an actual size range... (1344m x 864m) or meters times meters = square meters folders. It would be a nice touch to have a bunch tiny urban maps in a folder for those intense 20 minute QB brew ups. Thanks again, CogNative
  18. Does the BLAST function work on these? Urban yet refreshing. Thanks, CogNative
  19. Thanks Meach, I will go back into Booty Camp and check. (OS X CMSF / Marines / Normandy for Christmas?) I have not been good but not as naughty as the rest of you all. The reason I ask is a large number of the QB maps (and I have over 200+) appear to be the same size, same map with only a different naming like QB XXX_XX small, med or large on the rear end. If these are all the same maps, does the game need extra copies in the QB folder with the suffix or can I simply pick one (of the same map) and that works for the game to select it for any / all bigger or smaller battles on the same terrain? If the answer is CMSF needs a different naming suffix for the same maps... then that should be on the improvement list IMO. Heck, While on a roll... why not establish a naming convention that allows one to organize maps by SIZE outside the game editor? CogNative... lost in the wonderful wilderness of QBG goodness. Thanks for all your hard work on these gems!
  20. Mark and all QBG, How are the extra QBs from QBG named? I scrolled through the editor and all these QB Maps look the same (same exact size, etc.) but have different names. Example = QB Attack Rough QBG MM_38Large(1344x864) QB Attack Rough QBG MM_38med(1344x864) QB Attack Rough QBG MM_38small(1344x864) I have plenty of QBG + maps but are these duplicates? Thanks for the answer and all your work, CogNative
  21. Follow stikkypixie & Schrullenhaft directions. I am now on: MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.5 Apple BootCamp V2.1 CMSF & Marines Module #1 - V1.10 GeForce 8600M GT, single display mode driving an external: Apple 23" Cinema Display 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hertz ForceWare X 177.79 drivers with INF for the MacBook Pro. Happened on your question and tried CMBO (I have the Mac & PC - CD). The 1600x1200 @ 60 Hertz was Option #1 and it works fine on this set up! Kinda funny looking at CMBO after being spoiled CMSF & Marines Module #1 - V1.10... but nice in a Nostalgic way. Cheers. Trick or Treats at the door! CogNative
  22. Maybe... "Allah's ak Bar, and His Favorite tea brewing animation" award? Ken makes some valid observations about the user interface and sorting scenarios. Normandy and all future modules will be more polished products from the user experience but then you guys already know this. So does Apple with their "easy to use, flexible, powerful, slick, and graceful" approach to interface. Easy to use can = more sales. Did I mention the bonus award for a RT replay feature... and the OS X version? CogNative
  23. A a continuous low humming sound... with a shadowy image on the screen before the ... you are busted... stinger in the tail = a v1.11 ... much rejoicing in the village moment. CogNative
  24. BETTER interface for the scenarios... a bit more control over the briefing screen... and a RT replay feature. CogNative
