I admit my M5 was in a less than desirable fashion as I had little time to run the gauntlet. I will go back and play it through in true (as designed) MOUT fashion. Your "mini" Campaign has been distinguished recreation for me and my recommendations for Infantry oriented folks.

Reminds me of the VN Water Buffalo story one buddy shared. He wasted the Old Lady's Water Buffalo as it came out of thick vegetation towards his unit in the VC held area they were patrolling. The Old Lady was mortified and adrift in her world. His entire unit (101 Airborne Screaming Eagle "Duty-Honor Country" ) felt so bad they collected more than enough funds to replace the Water Buffalo.

You like Mods? You will like z-Bee CMSF Mod Manager. It works great on my MacBook Pro! IMO, Battlefront should consider a user friendly Mod Manager in their CMx2 games now that their Repository is running. Not in any way tot take away form CMMODS. "It is a necessary tool if you like you game to have authentic look." The quality mods are out there and a Mod Manager is the easy way to use these mods for greater game value, IMO. You just need to make do with the saves that you have at the beginning of each mission. Good reason for the UI feature of Quick Save in V1.11? Santa? Got 10 minutes to go in M3 on my 2nd try. Thanks FMB.

M2 did fine. Use what you got and you will do fine. M3 Hmm? Much tougher than I thought and with a sassy back side slap. Will have to try M3 again. Dawn to Setting Sun is an excellent scale and refreshing no armor campaign. Another Village, Town no armor campaign for 2009... Please? Thanks FMB and all the testers.

I appreciate your question but I can't answer with experience. That said "Just how bad is the TOW in Real Life"... I will not a volunteer. I suspect a close miss is a VERY bad day.

The QBG Santa! Thanks for this holiday gift. Maybe BFC will toss a V1.11 in the sock as well? Ken said it well, "I think that the best CMSF scenarios are far better than the best CMBB scenarios. In that regard, I agree with you; CMSF quality CAN be fantastic." It takes work to do this in CMSF. Example, Paper Tiger! His dedication to doing campaigns is admirable and appreciated. There many good CMSF scenarios and mods. CMBB has been around since 2003? and is easier to ... well as Bigduke6 stated, the complexity of scenario design has driven away some talent. Patience and / or practice. I tried making some platoon sized scenarios / maps and it takes time. Fun = Yes but CMSF takes time because it is that much better than CM1.

You don't want to fight your way through 15 missions just to get to a totally unwinnable finale. Include me PT. I can only imagine the frustration of 15 missions and no brass ring! 1.11 pre Holidays?
