  1. Sure, I know that... I mean - why do I have different scale if I aim with the target diamont only?
  2. Thx mate, I`ll try it out... On the first sight, I think that`s what I DID and hit NOTHING, but I repeat it step by step now... But why do I have differend sight for the different ammo types, for AP, HE and so on? How can I work with them?
  3. Thank you very much! I gonna try them out this weekend... Can I ask you another question? It seems to me you`re quite familiar with this game... Can you explain to me how I can aim manually? How can I shoot - and hit - with a T-34 or T-55? There`s nothing about this in the game manual, and I found no answer in this forum, too Thanks again for help!
Soweit, so gut.
  5. Ok, I played T-72 two days now. I read the manual and I searched this forum for answers, but I STILL have serveral questions...maybe I`m too stupid for this game... ...but maybe we got some experts here who can help a newbie to become a tank ace himself... 1. How can I shoot manualy? I know how to find the range with the gun site scale (or how ever it`s called in english...) but how can I hit my target? I choose my ammo, say High Explosive = OFS. I choose the plate in the gunner`s site marked with an "O". But how/where shoot/aim I?? I press ctrl+W for RVD, but it doesn´t work on a T-34...on a T-72 it seems to me I`m doing something wrong, too...but got near misses with it at last... 2. What does the SUO do - stabilisation only? What`s the difference in the game playing with or without it? 3. When I`m comander, can I assign targets? Is there a way to "cycle" through the targets (like cycling through the waypoints), e.g. pressing a key to change from target A to target B and C and so on, and then assign one of them to my gunner? 4. What excactly does the "T"-Key do? I got the german version of the game, in the manual stands "Zielerfassung"...first I thought it would be something like assigning a target, but it doesn`t work properly... 5. What`s the "P"-key for? In the manual it`s "creating a waypoint" ("Wegpunkt setzen"), but when I press it, the HUD display "waypoint XY" disappears ( and I don`t have a clue to turn it on again...) and it seems to me nothing else happens... 6. How can I order my driver to move to the next waypoint (like in the second training mission)? In the manual it`s the "~" key, but I don`t know which one it is in the game... On the german keyboard, "~" is "Alt gr" and the "+" key together, on the US keyboard it`s the key left to the "1" key, but no matter which one I try, my driver doesn`t do anything... Hope you can help my...I think T-72 can be a great game, but I`m a little frustrated at this time...
  6. Is there any way to modify the default training missions? I`d like to play each of the tutorial missions (driving, shooting etc.) with every single playable tank in this game, e.g. learn to drive in a T-72, T-55 and a T-34/85... Is it possible? And if "yes", how?
  7. Any news about this add-on? Or are you talking about the "multiplayer feature" of the retail version?
  8. It`s called "Hamachi"...you can simulate a LAN with this program. Unfortunatly, people must join your virtual LAN, but how shout anybody know you are playing T-72? I mean, you can tell your friends, but I guess that won`t be too much player... ok, this post is 2 years ago...any plans to play T-72 via internet? I tried to play it via hamachi today with a friend, for me it was ok, he had a slide show...
  9. I have the same problem. I bought T-72 yesterday and started with driving a tank. Not too easy, but fun. Then I did some target practice. Ok, and much practice I needed...but now I can hit stationary (...) targets with my T-72...what a hero I am... Ok, I felt fit enough for the first campaign mission. My first "own" tank, a T-34...can`t be too bad, I thought... Ok, I come to the point - I didn`t hit ANYTHING! How can I aim, fire and HIT in a tank other than a T-72?? ...well, I finished the mission...I played as a driver only, gave full throttle, killed three enemy infantrymen with my tracks and reached the village...but I guess that is not the way the mission was designed for... So please help me - is there a tutorial, a walkthrough how to become a tank gunner?
